Is any one still creating DVD and Blu-ray discs or are you uploading videos to Vimeo, Facebook, Youtube, etc. or using file transfer software like We Transfer, Dropbox, etc?
So if you want to see or ask for a feature, report an error or get functionality this community is just a fluff. You need to go to a terrible forum and hope the algorithm god go in your favor so your post gets up voted for attention, so unless it’s a critical error, chances are Adobe isn’t going to post mortem their UX. This is where you can see tons of issues that don’t get addressed. For example being able to use the middle mouse in Premiere, like all the other Adobe software… Tons of post and repeat posts on wanting this, only for Adobe to tell us most users don’t have a middle mouse button..... WTFThis is just one example others range from being able to make exact guides in AE without zooming to max and killing your eyeballs.Adobe needs to start to put improvement road maps out because this software is slowing becoming more and more trash.
Hello. Have you ever thought about automatic video editing? For example, we have 10 videos, and by analyzing them some sequence was gathered. Maybe based on the movement in the frame or their interestingness (some kind of machine learning) or something that would let us know that this part of the video should definitely be edited. Would it be interesting to hear your thoughts?
Thanks Bogden-Giurca for posting this and never mind those "community experts" acting like hall monitors checking for your bathroom pass. If you wouldn't have posted this here in the user to user forum, I would have never known that it was a "bug" and not a "feature" and that it has been reported to Adobe and that they are diligently working day and night to solve this annoyance! Keep posting - its helping! I'll now go back to my 4 hour Adobe render now. Mod note: Branched and moved to Video Lounge.
Does anyone else use Premiere to edit stills? I have Lightroom and Photoshop but I use Premiere to edit pictures when it involves cropping and masking. I'm sure it is just what you are used to but I find Premieres UI much easier than Photoshop.
So I have tried to embrace the "new" project workflow paradigm. It really doesn't work for me.In identifying why I hate to use it, I tried to filter out the number of little individual things that make it unpleasant and boil it down to a complaint. It took something that worked, put it in an overdressed UI and convoluted a straight forward process.PPro team, please quit assigning UI development to interns with the mandate to make it hip & cool, embrace all the new fads and use the "newest" trends. YUCH!
its kinda crazy right, thats why i didnt renew my subscription due to this , and when you try to google it, you cant find the solution because the admins locked it into a thread that doesnt exist anymore
So nice to pay to bang my head against a wall for a year and not use Adobe at all. FilmForth here I come.
Hi there I am just about to pick up my brand new Sony PXW-Z190 4K 3-CMOS 1/3" Sensor XDCAM Camcorder. So I am upgrading from my beloved Sony Z5P which is of course a tape based camera. So I am wondering what is the best format to shoot on with my new camera and best format to edit on? Is there any advantage in shooting in 4K? I do simple doco-style productions for organisations that require digital video clips to promote their programs and services and they are uploaded to social media platforms and websites. Have always got good results shooting and editing in HD. The advantage of the new camera is of course that I no longer have to rely on tapes. Any advice to help me with this transition gratefully received. 🙂
THIS DOESN'T WORK AT ALL!!! No one at Adobe knows what they're talking about! Nor do they care the slightest. They know we're all just going to keep giving them money on a monthly basis for their BS subscription model. In Adobe's eyes, why bother to keep the customers happy when they're already raking in the money regardless? The only solution to this issue: dump your Adobe subscriptions! Move to Davinci Resolve, FCPX, Avid, or even Windows Movie Maker is probably more reliable than this garbage platform Adobe calls an NLE. Absolutley pathetic!
I use 4K setting to download this video. But video shows UHD. What is reason for that? Nepal 4K
This is the Premiere Pro forum. Premiere does not support dlx files. Best is to contact dialux on this. Thread moved to video lounge.
It's unacceptable, I already can't install premiere anymore without the 2015.4 and if I cancel my subscription they add a cancellation fee of 75€. Adobe, you MUST provide the service we are paying for, if you can't release it for whatever legal reason, adapt it and find a solution for your loyal customers. I can't believe this is happening!
Any moderate to large scale project is painful to work with ... even with proxies, which one CAN NOT do when color grading, performance is horrible regardless of how much hardware I toss at Pr? I'm working with a simple conversion of 5030 .jpg images (one per frame) into a video and I can't even edit the sequence nor change the duration. Heck sometimes it will not even show me a program image from the timeline. To put this into perspective, I can use "HitFilm" express (which is free) and load my 5030 .jpg files and generate a video sequence without any issues. I'm a software engineer and I'm aware of performance pitfalls, but I hate to say this, but your development team need to revisit the basics. Come on Adobe, what the heck is going on with the your development team? I've thousands of $$$ with subscriptions to Adobe and I'm simply NOT getting my moneys worth ... it's shameful. The number of threads I've seen in regards to performance problems i
Some time YouTube videos have Blurred Letters when it shows APPr apps. Is there any specfic frame size option to download to get rid of this issue?
22.3 feels like a step backward in so many ways. I'm normally cool headed with bugs, but it's maddening how many 22.3 dropped with. To name but a couple: - Recurring render bugs. I haven't been able to render once with this version, no matter how many times I try. I had to sent to AME everytime.- Render in out is totally broken. For me, at least, but this has never happened before yet consistantly throws up the bad return error now.- Scrubbing is buggy as hell and is either 10x slower than 22.2 or just outright crashes most of the time- The export window looks like somebody with an art history degree designed it. More clicks and less functionality. Most of this is just a rant, though I'd love to know if there's known fix for both the render issues, since between them they are making pro unusable now. Any feedback appreciated.
Dear Adobe, For a couple of years now, me and thousands of people from around the globe are reporting issue after issue, bug after bug. Still some bugs are there for a couple of years now and do not seem to get fixed. I am not waiting for all these new functions you are adding all the time. We are all waiting for the existing issues to be fixed. If I would not have to use After Effects, I would already have made the switch. So, a lot of people like me, are very desperate. We all pay every month, for software that crashes at least a couple of times a day. It makes me wonder if you even use the software at Adobe, cause you would have the same frustrations, no? So, again, please fix these issues because when you keep adding more new features, just more new problems are appearing. Thank you!
The answers below are useless. They do not refer to the Current version. As ADOBE updates the software, they quickly invalidate any user-generated "help."The utter lack of relevant, accurate documentation is maddening. Relying on "the user community" to do the work the developers should have done is good modern corporate strategy and terrible for users.I have purchased dozens of licenses for ADOBE products over the past 27 years. Once, these were first-rate products that performed as described in adequate documentation and that did not crash when doing extraordinarily complicated, demanding actions like "pasting." Now, the company had adopted the Microsoft strategy of delivering and hoping their consumers will accept any execrable product they foist upon us. I wonder if anyone is now proud to admit they work for Adobe. Mod note: This post was branched and moved. The title was changed to reflect the topic. Post has been edited for content. Please do not use profanity
Seriously I'm going to start to learn more languages because the english language alone does not contain enough words to describe the horrible service provided by this garbage of a software Mod note: Post was moved. Title was changed to reflect the problem.
Friends, let's stop paying for Adobe and start with Final Cut or DaVinci,I think Adobe has abandoned us and for my part the word PRO is obsolete. I am very angry!!
Looking at the extensive feedback I've seen recently on the Forum regarding new features such as the 'controversial' header bar implementation and the import screen that was incorporated in V23.x - is this a dumbed down product that Adobe are trying to push in the market?.You cannot appeal to the casual laptop mobile editor and serious Desktop user at the same time surely when making user interface changes ?I'm not a Professional editing house - I'm just an enthusiast hobby video editor and I find some of these new features puzzling .......and sometimes annoying. To a Video Production house it would seem to me these could also give rise to a few questions, "where are Adobe going with this Software?".I'd like to see less gloss and 'cool features that are 'me too' and trendy ... ' and focus on investing engineering resources that give real performance improvement and stop wasting time on messing about with user interfaces that really don't need it. These are low priority rated devel
Should Deinterlace and Decomb be used when exporting interlaced footage?
I need to create video banner ads in specific sizes and I'm not sure what Adobe tool would be best for that. I'm need to generate HTML5 from MP4 files, but I need to create multiple ad sizes. Suggestions?
I want to share a project recently completed that extensively used the Photoshop painterly action. When I first saw the painterly action, I thought it would be a great way to make my next music video stand out.Of course it meant applying the effect to individual frames (still images) then piecing them together in Premiere. So after many hours (don't ask for a number because I don't know), please check out the final product:https://youtu.be/NrzDcglqqZo
