Adobe Acrobat on Android

I just recently got an Android tablet (Oneplus Pad 2) to replace my laptop for school, and I've noticed that whenever I edit a pdf on the Android Version of Adobe Acrobat, it creates a new files, instead of saving the edits to the pre-existing file. Is there any way to make it so that my changes save to to the original file instead of having to keep up with duplicate files?

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

 

We are aware of this issue, and this is a known limitation with OnePlus devices

 

The device OS and its file software has been designed as such, that it does not allow any applications write permissions to the existing files present. 

So, every time you make any changes to your PDF, a new copy of the file is created rather than being saved on the original file.

 

Also, this is not just related to Acrobat, but any other app that has access to file storage has the same issue. 

This has been in discussion on their forums too. The first result around this that I could see was: photos don't move to folders (https://adobe.ly/3zbRl8e)
