Files won't sync with OneDive

I have always used Acrobat Reader on my tabled synced with my OneDrive account. As soon as I close the document, it updates the PDF in my OneDriver folder, syncing any new anotations. Ever since the last update, it won't do that. If a try to save a new copy in OneDrive, it also won't do that. I noticed that, with Dropbox, there is no problem at all. But if a try to save a new copy to Dropbox from a file that I had been editing and which was originally in my OneDrive account, none of the edits are saved in this new copy. I have removed and added my OneDrive account again, I have deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing worked. Is there anything I can do?

Correct answer Amal.

Hi there,

Hope you're all doing well.

This issue has been fixed in the latest June update of the Acrobat Android app. Please go to the Play Store, update the app to the latest version, then restart your device and check if the issue is gone.

If you still face any problems or need more help, just let us know,  we're happy to help!

Hi @defaultsvy6iuocei8s

I hope this message finds you well, and thank you for reaching out to us!

In order to better assist you with your issue, could you kindly provide the following details:

  1. OS Version: Please share the version of the operating system you're using on your mobile device.
  2. Acrobat Reader App Version: To find this, you can tap on the profile icon in the top-right corner of the app and select "About Adobe Acrobat". It will show the version number there.

Additionally, if possible, it would be extremely helpful if you could record a short video demonstrating the steps you are following and where the issue occurs. This will allow us to gain a clearer understanding of the problem and expedite the investigation process.

Thank you again for your patience, and I look forward to your response so we can assist you further!

Hi Amal,

Thanks for the response! Sorry for my own delayed reply to your post.

This is happening in the two Samsung Android devices I use (one of them is using Android 12/One UI 4.1, the other Android 14/One UI 6.1). In both devices, Acrobat Reader version is 24.9.4.35580.

As for the video, I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what to film. I simply open the Acrobat Reader App, open the document directly from OneDrive (opening the "files" tab, then "OneDrive", then choosing the file), make annotations, then close the file by clicking on the arrow on top of the screen. Which is what I always did, and it always saved my annotations in the file that is in OneDrive before. Maybe I could record my screen, but that'd be all. Would it help?

Thanks!
