Thanks for reaching out and I'm really sorry to hear about the trouble. I understand how frustrating it must be to suddenly see all your folders missing.

If the PDF files are still there but the folders are no longer showing, it could be due to a sync issue or a recent app update. A few things you can try:

1. Check Web Version: Please log in to https://adobe.ly/3Tu7HzI  using your Adobe ID and see if the folders appear under the “Your Documents” section.

 

2. App Update & Sync: Make sure your app is up to date. If it's already updated, try signing out and signing back in to refresh the file structure. Also, try syncing again if you’re using cloud storage.

Also, please check the help page https://adobe.ly/3IepQPy  and see if that works.

If you've tried the steps and still don’t see your folders, let us know your device and app version so we can look into it further.

Thank you for posting your query here. Could you help me with few details to understand your issue better?

  1. Have you deleted it from your device or from the application?
  2. Make and model of your device?

 

If you are not uploading the files to Adobe Document Cloud or saving it to any other location, then the files will be deleted permanently.

It is not possible to retrieve the files once deleted directly from the application.

 

I would suggest you always save a copy of the file to some other location or you can upload the files to Document Cloud.

If the files were saved within the application, they are by default uploaded to Document Cloud.

To check your document cloud:Adobe Document Cloud. 

 

Otherwise, there's not much we can do to recover those files for you.

I think I have the same issue: all the folders I created to store pdfs (within Adobe) have gone missing.  All the files are still there (as far as I can tell) but it's use one long list.
