Apple support said not a phone issue.

Hi curious_listener8105,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble.

An outage yesterday caused the application to crash on launch. The issue was resolved yesterday.

As you mentioned, you have reinstalled the application. If you refer to the recent files list that appears when you launch the application, then it is designed behavior. When the application is installed, the recent list clears.

If you refer to the files saved locally in the application, they cannot be recovered. Once you uninstall the application on an iOS device, the data is removed along with the application. It is a design feature of iOS devices.

We always suggest backing up data when uninstalling the application on iOS devices. If you have any files saved on Adobe Cloud Storage, you can find them on the Acrobat web account. Once you reinstall the application, you can access the files on the cloud from Files > Adobe Cloud Storage.

If you are referring to other folders, please let us know where you saved the files. It would be helpful if you could share the screenshot.

Please ensure that you are signed in to the correct account. To sign in to the application, use the same options you used the first time you accessed it.

Feel free to let us know if you need any help.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
