Remove pw protection on adobe acrobat pro for ipad?

I have acrobat pro on my ipad pro. I was trying to make documents read only but the password protection feature seems to have simply made it unable to open without the password. Now I can't remove the password protection. I don't want users to need a password to open I just want to prevent unauthorized editing.

does anybody know:

1. How do I remove password protection from my own docs?

2. How do I make my pdf docs read only?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble you are experiencing with the password protection and securing the PDF files.

I have checked your Adobe account and found that you have an active plan for Acrobat Pro. To remove the password and restrict editing, please open the PDF on your desktop using the Acrobat Pro desktop app.

Two types of passwords are available:

1. Document open password: A Document open password (also known as a user password) requires a user to type a password to open the PDF.

2. Permissions password: A permissions password (the primary password) requires a password to change permission settings. Using a permissions password, you can restrict printing, editing, and copying content in the PDF. Recipients don’t need a password to open the document in Acrobat or Acrobat Reader. They do need a password to change the restrictions you've set.

If the PDF is secured with both types of passwords, it can be opened with either password. However, only the permissions password allows the user to change the restricted features.
