I was wondering if it's possible to open other (external files) using a stamp of some sort? A dynamic stamp perhaps? Well, at this moment I haven't found anything. Let me know if you know. Thanks, folks.

We have a form that will be filled out by operators.  The operators fill out a signature field when the form is completed.  The supervisor then reviews the form and signs a second signature field to confirm that everything is filled out correctly.  I have two questions.Can the supervisor signature field be read only, then when the operator signs off, the supervisor signature field is now able to be signed?Can the supervisor signature field be limited to who can sign it?Thank you in advance.

I have successfully created a couple of stamps using app.response. No problem. The two stamps I've created are fields in a table, seven rows and four columns, looks like a purchase order and it totals each row. OK that gives you a picture of what the stamp looks like. Now, my question is, I apply the stamp and the window opens asking to enter an item, then click OK. Then the next field asks to enter an amount and a price. Now, what I'd like to know is, is it possible to go back one or two fields. So, in essence changing one's mind and being able to enter a different item and/or amount and/or price before the stamp is set. I know once applied the info cannot be edited. One has to delete it and reapply a new stamp to make any changes. But, I'd like to just go back one or two windows prior to applying the stamp. If you know, let me know. I'm curious. Thanks.

I have a form that separates whole numbers and decimals. What I need to do it take the sum of two boxes 1stFloor and 1stFloordec subtract 0.4 from the total and place the whole number in Garage and the remaining decimal in Garagedec. Summing the two and subtracting works fine its just getting it to place the whole number in Garage and the remaining decimal in Garagedec I'm having trouble with.

I have this form with a start date that need to be manually input by the users. My end goal is to check for files over 25MB and use Acrobat 9's "Optimize scanned file" feature to make them smaller.Unfortunately, I do not know the command or function within Acrobat's API in order to make this happen. I am looking to create a form that allows a user to lock their respective fields, but also unlock them again, should they need to amend or update any of the information. The form is to then be sent back to the company, where it is completed, but the company should not be able to write/edit the user-input fields.The closest solution I have come across is some script that requires the user to enter a password on clicking a button, and this password will then lock/unlock the form. The password however, should be set by the user, on first click of the button ideally. Currently, it is already determined within the script, meaning the company would have to share the password with the user, defeating the whole purpose of locking the fields.This is the code as described above. Hi there,This may not be the correct forum to ask this question, but I figured I'd start here first...More and more, I am running into problems with employees who do not understand the difference between opening a PDF in Adobe Reader, vs. opening a PDF in their browser. I have given tutorial after tutorial on how to avoid this, but it never seems to stick. I'm constantly getting phone calls saying "my formula won't work" or "when I click the button nothing happens", and it's ALWAYS because the user didn't properly download the file. I'm hoping that there might be a script to prevent the user from doing anything to a document if it's open in say, Google Chrome vs. Adobe Reader. Or perhaps, have the document just be one page with a button that says "START", that you can only click if it's open in Adobe.Any thoughts?

I need some help ID my way forward: I’m building a shop to where you can purchase a printed document. I want to ease up my workflow so that customers can insert/upload e.g. their name and logo file, which is then transferred to a standard Adobe document (pdf). Following the acceptance of the preview and checkout (payment) by the customer, I want the document to be “exported” as a print-ready file to me so that I can print and ship it. Is there an advanced plugin for either Adobe CC, WooCommerce or Wordpress that can do that process? -The documents I intend to make in Illustrator as templates, final dokument will be made in print-friendly pdf.

Hi.I'm working on a pdf file created in inDesign. It is a document (pdf) with which we let people make declarations. Thay can put the description and amount in the document en it will count al the bills as one total.I thought ok that's easy with Acronbat Pro DC en the calculate field etc... but I'm keeping the error 109 with saving. And then It won't save.In the preview file it works.....The 0,00 won't work... it's says >> This default value does not match the format (Number) specified. I have a checkbox that if selected on the first PDF page it uses text from another hidden text form field and saves it as read only when checked.I still want the user to be able to unchecked the box and fill data in if needed.Everything is working fine on the first form field but the second field is not working. Hi there,I need to insert blank pages in a large PDF doc only once after it finds a specific word on that page and is odd.For eg:  If the page has the word "Print this document" and the page number is 5, then insert a blank page only after it.             If the page has the word "Print this document" and the page number is 6, then insert a blank page before and after it.             If the page does not have the word "Print this document", do nothing.The code sounds simple but I am just not sure. I found the script below on this site and I would like to get it working for me to see if it's what I'm trying to accomplish. I have it attached to an mouseUp action of a button and it pops out a window. I click to open a file and click OK and that's all it does. No opens any file. I have various annotation elements that have a State set using the transitionToState method.  I want to remove all state(s) from an annotation using JS, however I can't see any method in your SDK manual that allows you to remove State information?ThanksSimon
