Hola a tod@s,necesito crear un botón en un formulario (acrobat XI) que al pulsarlo imprima directamente en pdfcreator  (sin ventanas ni de acrobat reader ni de pdfcreator) la hoja en un directorio y con un nombre concreto : por ejemplo en c:\pruebas y cuyo nombre sea la fecha actual; por supuesto en PDF.Espero vuestra ayuda. Using Acrobat XI Pro, I can't figure out how to open the window that contains ALL the Javascripts in the document.  I need to add a single line of code to all required fields, and it would be 10x easier if I could go through all the scripts in the document at once, instead of clicking Properties > Actions > Edit for each field.  In Acrobat X Pro, in EDIT mode, I would click Other Tasks > Javascripts > Edit all Javascripts to accomplish the same task, but I'm using Acrobat XI Pro at work, and the menus are very different.

Currently working on creating a flyer and a new brochure. The flyer was created on MS Publisher and the Brochure on InDesign. I've successfully added the format text in the publisher document so that the reader OUGHT to be able to recognize it...but no luck. I've converted both to PDF as well.I've been able to rearrange reading order successfully without any issues and have tagged all pieces of the document properly. The images I would like the screen reader to recognize have all been tagged as a Figure/Caption and all have the appropriate alt text and are on the list in the reading order. However, no matter what type of tag I put on the image, the screen reader refuses to recognize the image descriptions I've included as alt. text and just glazes over them. How can i go about fixing this and get the images to read along with the text of the documents?I've read various forum posts and have not found anything useful in regards to this issue.Any insights?

Dear all,I am using a VBA macro to fill contents of an MS Excel-document into a PDF with formfields (on a Windows 10 machine). The PDF document contains about 1500 fields that are filled. Since the last Adobe Acrobat update (October 2nd, Acrobat Version: 19.008.20071) this process has become a poor performance. Before the update the filling of the PDF took at most 30 seconds. After the update it can take up to 30 minutes, depending on whether the Adobe backround process is closed in the task-manager or not. As far as I could find out the slow performance only affects the filling of the formfields of the PDF. Reading information from the formfields of the PDF seems to be not affected. Using the debugger, the performance is as before. Has anyone encountered the same issue? Good evening, I am trying t create an action that will delete all the pages after the 2nd page of the document, then save the file to a different folder.I have tried using the "Delete pages" action, and that didn't work. but saving the file to another folder works just fine.

I have experienced the following situation.I have an interactive form designed with Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES4 which is then executed with Adobe Acrobat Standard DC (Version: 2015.006.30457). The form is utilizing the functionality of the Net.SOAP object for obtaining some data.When the content-type of the response was "text/xml" or "application/json", for example when requesting SharePoint data, all worked as expected for both synchronous and asynchronous calls.However, for the response below when the call was made synchronously Adobe Standard generated RaiseError pointing to the Net.SOAP.request() method. If, alternatively, the call was made asynchronously the callback function was not invoked and the rest of the code continued executing as if nothing had happened. In the latter case though upon exiting Adobe Acrobat, "Adobe Acrobat DC has stopped working" and “An unhandled exception occurred in Acrobat.exe [ some number ]” messages were generated.Response raw data

I know you can password protect a PDF very easily using Acrobat. What I would like to do is link the PDF to multiple passwords, rather than just a single password. I want to be able to send my document out to a few hundred people on CD, and each of them have their own unique password to open the file. Is anything like this possible? Hello,Apologies if this has been asked before, but I have searched with no luck.I want to assign a button in my PDF to open up an .ai file in Illustrator. Now, I know I can use the Open File action, navigate within Finder to find my file to link to. That works fine.But I need a bit more flexibility than that, as I want to be able to manually type in a file path (reason, my PDF will be shared with three offices, each of which will have their own file paths. I don't want to have to travel to the other office just to relink a new file, should something change. If I can type in manually I can set the file path remotely)So I thought to use app.openDoc....app.openDoc("/Users/produser/Desktop/testfile.ai")However, all that does is open up the file in a new window within Acrobat.Is there a way to tell Acrobat that the target application for the file is Illustrator, not Acrobat?ThanksJTH

I have a form in which the latitude and longitude for a starting point can be entered, followed by the latitude and longitude for an ending point. The distance between the two coordinates is then automatically calculated. As it is right now, If I enter a value in the first latitude column and the first longitude column, the distance column will populate with a value, even though the second latitude and longitude columns are blank. I would like the distance column to remain blank until a complete data set has been entered. I have JavaScript that runs best with the bookmarks panel open. I know app.execMenuItem("ShowHideBookmarks"); toggles the bookmarks panel but I've not been able to find a way to detect whether it's already open.Is there one?Thank you

Hi,We have created a script that move PDF files to different folders based on if it's one page, or multiple page. This works with Adobe Acrobat installed locally. Problem is that this script will run on a server, and then we need license for ALL users accessing the server, which can be a variable amount of people for different environments. We have thought about the SDK, but not sure if same license regulations apply, or if the SDK itself is sufficient. Any sugestions to solve this problem would be appriciated. Kind Regards,Vidar

We have developed a pdf document that includes form fields and various calculation fields.  Currently we fill out the information for our customers on our PC and send them a flattened PDF for their records.  Is there a way that we can have the customer fill out the pdf online for themselves with the same form fields and calculations working, and have the system email them a flattened copy of what they filled out.   I spoke to someone a few months back and I was under the impression there is a server side solution that could handle this.  Anyone got any ideas.   Thanks in advance.

Im trying to calculate a total based on numbers typed into 4 fields - which works fine - however, I also have to add a number to that total (a base cost to which the other 4 fields will be added).  In the simplified field notation, I have the following: AACCgraphics+AACCFurniture+AACCFloor+AACCExtras+45500   With the addition of the +45500 into that script, it displays the initial total correctly in the total field, however it doesn't add any numbers from the other fields. I feel like this should be a simple thing to do, but I can't figure it out. Help!

I'm working in Acrobat X, but users are using a variety of Acrobat and Reader of every version. A client needed a PDF to ship with layers turned off, but be returned with layers turned on. After I added this to the script that displays the PDF results, then saved the PDF with Reader Extended PDF>Enable Additional Features:if (layers.state == true){layers.initState = layers.constants.states.on;}else{layers.initState = layers.constants.states.off;}...the regular PDF worked fine in Acrobat, but the Reader Extended version stops execution with the message:Acrobat EScript Built-in Functions Version 10.0Acrobat SOAP 10.0NotAllowedError: Security settings prevent access to this property or method.OCG.initState:11:Field Finalizar:Mouse UpThe error message tells us nothing, but when I comment out the lines that switch the constant.states status, the error goes away.
