I have created a drop down list with 10 selections in it. Based on selection of that drop down list a different drop down list opens. How would I set validation for min and max dollar amount based on choice. Thanks M

From created in Adobe Acrobat DCI am working on a form that requires check boxes or radio buttons to be ticked in a specific order. These check boxes or radio buttons would tell us whether the step passed or failed.We need to be able to prevent the user from moving on to Step 3 if they did not choose a check box for step 2. I understand that it is not recommended because users can become frustrated, but these are extremely important steps and my boss wants it this way. The form would be something like this:Step 1 - CheckBox1PASS Checkbox1FAIL - one must be chosen before moving on to step 2Step 2 - CheckBox2PASS Checkbox2FAIL  - one must be chosen before moving on to step 3I have looked everywhere for maybe a script that could do this. I know I can do it with text boxes by adding a script to the on blur action.Would anyone happen to know a script that could accomplish this? I have an integer coming over from a web form. This integer is the saved value of a string, in our case company names. Depending on what integer gets populated I would like to replace the integer with the company name if that is possible. Example: 10 represents "Workplace, Inc." When the field populates 10, execute some JavaScript to replace the 10 with "Workplace, Inc."

I have 48 fields (name of the fields: format1, format2 ... etc) with a drop down menu. Options include:  store1, store2, store3, store4, store5, store6, store7, store8, store9.  I want a numeric field to ONLY calculate the 1-9 options

Currently custom adobe plugin should copy pdf content if pdf document was updated but not saved in Adobe Reader/Acrobat otherwise it continues using original file location. It was tested on different files. This works fine with almost all files except one. From properties of this file I see that this is Adobe LiveCycle Forms 8.2 document with PDF Version 1.7 (Acrobat 8.x). This file works fine with this plugin installed on Reader XI, Reader IX and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Hello, Sorry in advance if the question has already been answered but can't seem to find it.I am building an interactive PDF where a client number can be added in one field for identification.I have an Excel spreadsheet with the correlation between client number and name.Is it possible to import this spreadsheet so that when the client number is filled in one text field, the client name will be displayed in a second field?Thank you for your help.

Can not get Adobe Acrobat XI Pro to work after installment of update!

I need some help creating a formula for rounding down a field in a form I'm creating.  I need the field to take the numbers from 2 separate fields and add them together subtract 10 and then divide by 2.Something like (Field1+Field2-10)/2  and then round down to the nearest whole number so 4.5 goes to 4 and so on.Also I dont know if it would work differently but if it does i need it to work with negative numbers so -3.5 rounds to 4If anyone could help me with this i would be very appreciative.

Is it possible to run PDF Optimizer programmatically from within C# application? If it is, would you mind pointing me at the right direction (reference, library)?I've spent whole day researching this issue with no success. Any help is much appreciated.What I'm doing is checking files for user-specified errors, then re-saving them with some changes. I was able to proceed this far with Acrobat Type Library. Unfortunately, the last step is to optimize files, that wouldn't pass yet another test with user-specified PDF Optimizer settings. I have an application that uses stub files and some users have problems merging documents that are stub files. Just to be clear, I'm talking about a stub in the metadata-only sense. The way my application works, the files in question appear on the file system as normal but the files have no content until a user opens them, just metadata. When my users try to merge two PDFs via Acrobat, Acrobat errors out. Anyone know if Acrobat DC even supports stub files? The error makes sense to me, the files aren't actually on the file system so Adobe can't merge what isn't there. Just wanting to confirm if this is actually unsupported or if I'm missing something.

I want to flatten pdf files with electronic signatures. I have found the action from flattering pdf files so that comments and markups become part of the pdf files and cannot be moved around in Acrobat Reader but this action does not work for files with electronic signatures. For these files I use Print to PDF action but this requires clicking for each file to be printed. For large number of files it is time consuming. I am looking for solution to this problem, how to flatten this files or how to modify Print to PDF action so that it will automatically process large number of files without need for clicking on each print.

I want to create required fields. I would like an alert to pop up when a required field has not been filled in. Cannot save form without filling in the required fields.Please provide easy to follow directions.Thanks!

I've created a fillable pdf, ready to send for signature (Client agreement) — in the agreement are subscription plans, the client will select one, and I'd like the client to get an automatic email for the payment link based on their selection. There are 5 radio button choices, each with a distinct payment link url, if selected. I don't code, but I see that this might be possible to do within Acrobat? Thanks for any help.

Hello together,I've generated and added my addToolButton icons as described here:addToolButton - oIcon - Hexadecimal Value Therefore I'm designing the icon in Photoshop 20 x 20 px, save it as png, render it to hex in Acrobat's console and feed this hex-stream into a variable. The result is a very poor image quality of the icon. Is there a better way to do this? Or have parameters changed and now it's a 256 x 256 px image or Acrobat takes svg or what is it to get a good icon quality?Thanks,Tobias

I want to have a list box with ***multiple selections***... I THEN want another text box to populate based on the selections. I don't want verbatim, I want more than just the selection.Say "Florida" is selected, I want the field to populate "Florida: Where the beaches are nice"... Say "Arizona" is selected, I want the field to populate "Arizona: Extremely hot in the summer"... and so on for each selection... I want to these to accumulate.
