I have 200 acrobat documents that need to have the following properties modified on each one:Page scaling set to NONESecurity   password security   compatibility:  Acrobat X and later   permissions      restrict editing      printing allowed, high resolution    Enable text access for screen reader devices for visually impairedAny thoughts on a way to script for each one?

I am trying to prepare accessible documents from InDesign (and MS Word) and I have discovered that Acrobat Reader XI and Acrobat Professional X can not read documents that contain true typographic characters such as proper quotation marks, apostrophes, ellipses, and dashes. If I replace the quotation marks with primes (the quotation marks that don't curl), the ellipses with three periods, and the dashes with hyphens, everything reads fine. I do not wish to compromise the quality of the typography in my documents. Does anybody know if Adobe plans to fix this?

I have created several custom stamps and tried to use the create customs stamps selection in Adobe DC but none of the JavaScript Fields work? I even tried to re-add the dynamic file as a new custom stamp and the JavaScript on those does not work either when I add them? Am I missing something here, I cna not find any support on here for Adobe DC Pro stamps

This problem is new with Acrobat DC and a wxWidgets plugin. I switch on the checkbox to 'Minimize windows into application icon' in the Dock Preferences... settings. I iconize the window. With iconize(true) the window shortly appears before it is hidden. Asking the window, if it IsShownOnScreen() returns true but the window is not visible. If I switch off the checkbox in the Dock Prefs iconize works fine. A workaround is show(false) and show(true). But then the window will be rendered always two times. Is there a call to get the state of the checkbox in the Dock Prefs?

Script reading a text file works fine in Acrobat Pro, but not in Reader.Is it a configuration issue ? Thanks.

Hi, i will regularly be combining PDF documents. Each month I receive 2 documents: one in English, and another in Portuguese. Apart from the languages, the documents are arranged so that they are identical. A simple merge is not sufficient as the purpose of the merge is to facilitate language learning, so I need, for example, page one of the Portuguese document to become page 2 of the merged document. The idea being that each page of English text is followed by its Portuguese counterpart.i once found code whereby this was done programmatically, but for the life of me a can't find it again. The field is supposed to get data from another field (which is a summary field) and state if its 65 or above and then print if it is or not. Hello,I have a question.I Build a PDF form for a client. They need to insert many images into a PDF. I do this wit the event.target.buttonImportIcon(); function in a button. This works really great.When the file browser opens when selecting a image, the browser (In windows or mac) shows at first only PDF files. Every time i select an image i need to change the file extension in the file browser from PDF to JPG to select an image. My client must making this step 50 times in a PDF, 450 times in a year. lMy question shortly:Is there an option to show automatically the JPG files in the filebrowser when uploading a PDF?. I have a pdf photo album. Can someone tell me the easiest way to place jpeg images into the album? Do I have to convert each and every jpeg to pdf? I want to give the album to my friend which only use the Acrobat Readers and they don't have any way to convert the images to pdfs. What can I do? Can someone suggest a solution? Thank you all.

Using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, I am working on a medical form form notifying our medical team of new patients. Upon completion of the form, I am trying to set it up to use a button to submit the saved PDF form and send it to our medical team in an email (we use MS Outlook across the organization). I am using Acrobat Javascript API to run a color conversion operation (this.colorConvertPage) but there is no option to mimic all the configurations available in the Color Convert dialog.For "Preserve Black" I can use the preserveBlack option from colorConvertAction object. However, there is no option on colorConvertAction to do what  "Promote Gray To CMYK Black" does.Using just Preserve Black all DeviceGray objects are mapped to rich blacks on CMYK, but using Promote Gray To CMYK Black does what I want, no rich blacks.Any ideas?

I have a simple task (of exporting and saving pages of a pdf as specific names) that is repeated and id like to be able to automate somehow through JS. I am trying to enable the console using this guide: https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/javascript_console But find that the checkbox for "Enable JavaScript debugger after Acrobat is restarted" is not there. I've recently installed Acrobat Pro DC (Team subscription) on a workstation in my office.  I've since noted 12 different executables that appear to be related to the product that have attempted to access the network or internet.  The environment I support requires that I understand why executables are running, especially when those executables are attempting network access.  I contacted tech support, but was given the answer that they don't know what these individual applications do and they had no resource to find out (I'll refrain from expressing my frustration over this answer).I have either discerned or learned from Google searching what several of the executables' functions are.  However, I am left with several unknowns, and most of these didn't show up until a week or more after Acrobat was installed:C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\AdobeGCClient\AdobeGCClient.exeC:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\AdobeGCClient\customhook\gccus

Installing adobe acrobat pro XI on a new computer but getting a message that a "qualifying" product is not installed.  Adobe acrobat pro XI is installed on my computer but is not listed as a qualified product from the drop down.  The message  says that mu serial number is valid, but no qualified product is downloaded.????
