how do I unlicense something that I purchased accidentally?

I'm just now figuring out this adobe stock and there are buttons all over to license stuff, and I can't see any prices anywhere.  I apparently have x photos that I can license as part of my subscription, but as I was traversing the site trying to see what stuff costs I ended up accidentally licensing a photo twice.  It really needs more feedback on what I am about to do.  So, how do I un-license the extra copy of a photo?

Thanks!

Hi K.,

Apologies, I only now saw your post. I don't see a record of you contacting customer care under the Adobe ID you are using here on the forums. I'm sorry you had a poor experience if you decide to renew your Adobe Stock subscription by the 19th, thirty days from when you closed your most recent subscription, I can assist you with receiving a replacent for the accidental licenses.

I have the same issue with an accidental licensing of an image I don't want. I have a wacom tablet and accidentally purchased an image by hovering over the button while navigating.

The image is #142899487

Could I please get these credits back?

Hi Mandy,

I see you have an Adobe account under the same ID as with forums.

Since you have accidentally licensed Stock file(142899487), I have added 1 image license to your account so that you can use it against a different image.

Hope this helps!

Hi there,

I accidentally licensed 6 cat/dog images today when I thought I was saving them to my library to sift through. I downloaded the one image I wanted and the other 5 need to go! Can you help me?

Hi Emily,

Sorry to hear that.

I made the mistake of licensing images which I thought I was merely adding items to my library for future use. I didn't realize it would take away from my allotment. Instead believed I was essentially placing them as 'favorites' in a way.

Could you fix this error for me as my 10 stocks are practically moved up but I am not planning on using the images currently held.

Image numbers are:

#97429377

#89639121

#43499945

#117521312

#117513306

#89653696

#61011028

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you so much in advance.

Hi Karen,

Since you have accidentally licensed Stock images, I have added 7 image credits to your account so that you can license different images instead.

Also, please see the help document: Stock FAQ: How to license an image with Adobe Stock?

Hope this helps!

Hi I'm a new user and I accidentally licensed a photo too.

#140023990

Does this mean I'm going to be charged for this photo? If so, how much? It's shows as a standard photo/license.

Additionally, upon joining it showed that I had 10 photos available. When I accidentally licensed this photo, it's now showing that I have 9 photos available. Are the available photos free (i.e. will I not be charged for the accidental licensed photo)?

Hi Joe,

I have checked your account and I see that you had accidentally licensed that image and therefore it used up 1 licenses from your 10 licenses allocated as per the subscription plan.

However, since there is no way to unlicense the image, I have added 1 credit to your account so that you can use it against this image for a different one.

Additionally, please see Stock FAQ: How to license an image with Adobe Stock? for more details.

Let me know if that helps!

Hi, like many other people I accidentally clicked on the licence button instead of the preview button. Image in question was #: 76966347.

I can't believe that this is still a one-click process considering the amount of replies to this, and other, threads.

Could I please get a credit for the mistaken image and I'll try and be more careful with my clicks in future!

Thanks

Hello,

I accidentally licensed an image less than 5 minutes ago clicking through the site, logged into a private client's account.

I'd like to return the image or unlicense the image. The number of the image is #130972203

Hi Renee,

I checked your account and see that you had accidentally licensed the image# as mentioned by you in the post above.

I apologize for the troubles that you've faced and have added a credit to your account against that image as it cannot be returned.

You can use it for a different image.

Let me know if that helps!

Hello everyone,

I'm having a similar issue.

I licensed image N. FILE: 81768025 but, once downloaded, the file results way darker than the picture in the preview.

To resolve the issue on my own, I licensed and downloaded file n°81768033 (which is the same image but darker) thinking that maybe the two files have been swapped somehow, but found out that neither is the correct match to the preview picture for file n°81768025.

I’d really appreciate if you could help me get the correct image and refund me of one lost license, if at all possible.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Illaria,

I apologize for the trouble. I licensed and Downloaded the file ID (81768025) and agree with you that the file appears darker than the image in the preview.

I have added an image credit to your account so that you can license a different image instead. I will be reporting the same image to the concerned team so that they can get it fixed.

Hope this helps!

Thank you so much Twarita!

I actually needed that particular image for a specific project, so can I ask you usually how long does it take for an image to get fixed?

Sorry for bothering you once more, but I'm really grateful for your intervention.

Have an awesome day
