PLEASE CREATE AN OPTION TO REPORT POOR QUALITY ADOBE STOCK ASSETS!

Recently downloaded an asset from Adobe Stock (https://stock.adobe.com/uk/images/building-web-icons-in-line-style-hotel-hospital-apartament-city-town-house-mall-coffee-collection-vector-illustration/780136570?prev_url=detail) - this asset has clearly been created from a very poor quality image trace in Adobe Illustrator. These are also not editable strokes. I would imagine that all of the similar assets from this creator are the same.

Adobe needs a way of reporting slop like this. I would also like a credit refund for this rubbish.

Correct answer Contributor1

Hello @David_bythesea, I've sent the details of this contributor to be reviewed internally. Thank you for the report and sorry for the problem with the vectors.

For a refund/credit return please reach out to our customer care team below:

Hey hey!

Just saw one of a many same requests…

Look, we have been working with this Stock for a long time.

Actually, today was the last pill…

Out of 10 licensed images - 7 was Ai-generated, or just bad quality (not a vector, for example).

Each time (daily), when we try to find some proper vectors - we have issues. Every, god damn, time!

Dear, Contributor1  - How do you suppose to manage that thing?!

It needs to be done right now. It’s really impossible to work (and I’m not even talking about the money we spent on this bad stuff).

Similar problem. Thanks for the discoverable thread.

chat bot lead me here to report. Nearly impossible to find a way to report a problem with the artwork.

File ID: 1924177338

Problem: The listing description says “with clipping path,” but the delivered JPEG contains no clipping path. I opened the original JPEG in Photoshop CS4 and checked Window → Paths; the Paths panel is empty. I purchased the asset expecting the advertised clipping path. Please have Adobe review the asset and provide a credit/refund.

What is the Stock asset ID number?

JPEG is probably the preview file, a flattened raster image.

Vector clipping paths are most commonly contained in these file types:

  • PSD (Photoshop Document): Retains paths saved in the Paths panel for use in other Adobe apps.
  • TIFF: Can embed vector clipping paths alongside raster image data.
  • EPS (Encapsulated PostScript): Frequently used in legacy print workflows to store vector clipping paths.
  • PDF: Preserves clipping paths and vector clipping masks embedded from Illustrator or Photoshop.

Absolutely agree with this.

I just downloaded vector files of https://stock.adobe.com/Library/urn:aaid:sc:VA6C2:2ddf078b-55a9-4c35-85dc-18ce606bc491?asset_id=2006270661 and https://stock.adobe.com/Library/urn:aaid:sc:VA6C2:2ddf078b-55a9-4c35-85dc-18ce606bc491?asset_id=1977919905, and they are both 100% just an image trace run on a raster image.

They are either AI generated and improperly labeled, or directly stolen from another designer. But there’s no way I can use these for an interactive map that’s going to zoom in on different sections. And I suspect a lot of the other assets I was looking at are probably the same thing, so a credit refund won’t even do me much good.

Post the problem asset ID number here along with the problem you’re having with it.

An Adobe employee will refer it to the internal review team.

If you paid for an unusable asset, contact Adobe Customer Care to request a credit refund.

https://account.adobe.com/

Click the online chat icon, ask for an AGENT.

Hope that helps.

This is still a big problem. I was trying to find a contact on the Stock site to report this. I think more and more contributors are using shortcuts to create images. I purchase illustrations and edit them to suit brand and topics. I cannot do this with these low quality ones. It is a waste of my money. I am now looking for other sources.

You can report problematic assets in the community.
Please include the asset number and a description of the issue in your post.

Yes!  There needs to be a way to report these!
file# 1895924843 is another terrible one.
I would like my credit back. This file is useless! Look at these ‘arrows’.

When you encounter what you believe to be mislabeled AI assets, confirm it with an AI Detection Tool:

Steps to Report Mislabeled or Poor Quality Assets:
  • Gather File Numbers: Locate the File ID number(s) (e.g., File #: 766397860).
  • Report in Stock Community Forum: Post the file numbers in the Adobe Stock Community forum, where staff and volunteers review complaints.

Hope that helps.
