Similar images already submitted!!!

Hello there,

I went from a 95% acceptance rate to 20% or less. Almost all of my submissions are being rejected for the "similar image" reason.

The quality of the images is really good and doesn’t have any issues.

I am uploading at most 2 or 3 variations of each object ,PNGs only and a variety of different items across many categories. I also make sure not to upload similar content that I’ve previously submitted. I am 100% certain that my entire account doesn’t have more than three variations of any given item.

Sometimes, I upload the same object in different styles.

for example, a car in a 3D style and another version in watercolor or clay, so they are still distinct. (2 to 3 variations for each style)

Is this a general issue that will be resolved soon, or is it only affecting me?

Hello everyone. Adobe Stoke made a reject of my photo under the pretext that I posted a similar picture. But this is not true. Can anyone explain what is happening?

hanks for giving us the chance to consider your image. Unfortunately, during our review we found that it's similar to another image(s) you've already uploaded, so we can't accept it into our collection.

Images must be different enough to provide additional value to our customers. We can't accept more than three color variations of the same image or similar images, and models must appear in different situations or with different expressions to be considered. Please be selective and submit only the very best from each image series.

A number of contributors are having assets rejected for being too similar when in fact they are not. We don't know why. Our only option is to wait things out until the situatioin is explained or fixed. Some have ceased to submit new assets in the meantime.

Second update!
After four days of having my assets accepted, though some were still rejected for 'quality issues' at a much lower rate (15%), they're now all being rejected again for being 'too similar.'

Hello @Raul Ceron29343509

from all contributors here , we have a lot of questions to be answered, most likely you didn't see my message from last week , but for sure you will see this mention.
If you as an employee know what's going on , now is the right time to come here and reply.

This is pure madness.

Regards.

Add my name to the list of people getting pictures rejected for "SIMILAR IMAGE(S) ALREADY SUBMITTED", which is obviously not true.

I've only just started uploading again. My success rate with AI-generated images previously was very high, but now they're rejecting almost everything.

Strangely, when I started uploading again, about a week ago I got a couple of pages worth of pics added to my portfolio, but now it's constant rejections, even though the pictures are completely different to what I've previously uploaded.

I was looking forward to spending a couple of months building my portfolio up again, but it looks like it will be a pointless exercise.

My content was flagged for "SIMILAR IMAGE(S) ALREADY SUBMITTED)." How can I check if the files I'm uploading already exist in Adobe Stock?

Please help.

Have you tested it?  What did you think of the results?

If such a tool actually works, it might help about 50% of contributors.

The rest of us will have to manually compare our work with current inventory.

IMO, if Adobe is comparing our new content to what is already in their inventory then we might as well give up. They have 390 million images online (and 22 million videos). Not sure there are any new ideas left. Variations on similar themes, yes. But new? I doubt it. If this is the case they may as well tell us to stop.

Same issue here which is why I came to the board to check. Very interesting rejections on photos for both quality and intellectual property reasons. What's also disconcerting, is that they're going through existing photos and removing those they call similar. It's a very loose term it seems, because they removed one of two photos of a particular sculpture on a bridge, but they were taken from complete opposite sides and different angles (just an example of one). A little strange I think, but it's their site. Take a look at your photo inventory total and see if you've lost any existing photos they think are too similar -- you might be surprised.

The updates from my side:
1. I keep getting my images rejected. Some of them are 100% non-similar to anything, neither in my portfolio nor on Adobe Catalog.
2. My acceptance rate went down from 92% to something around 50%.
3. Some of the images were rejected BEFORE the acceptance of ones I consider similar.
4. The color variations mean nothing anymore. I uploaded two similar backgrounds with the same idea but completely different colors. The first one was rejected because of "similarity", the second one stuck on a review.

Let's keep playing Sherlock games together because things are getting more and more interesting (and crazy).
Yesterday, I intentionally uploaded 3 backgrounds, which are very similar to ~6 of the existing ones in my portfolio. These 3 images were just lying in some folder for a long time because I considered them too common, simple, and boring.
ALL THREE were accepted in less than 10 minutes.
Today, 3 other images (non-similar to absolutely anything in my portfolio and to each other) were rejected for the "similarity" reason. There is no sense or human logic in all this.

Me, too, with backgrounds being accepted.

Maybe Adobe Stock has gone crazy. I uploaded 33 images to Adobe Stock 2 days ago, and out of those, 4 images were not approved. They stated the reason as 'Similar Image,' claiming that I had already uploaded them before. I was surprised because I’ve never uploaded this type of image before. Even 10 days ago, I uploaded several images and they didn’t approve them either. I’m wondering if anyone else has faced the same issue or if it’s just happening to me. If anyone knows a solution, please let me know.

Since Adobe is tightening the image submission rules, seems most of contributors will have higher rejection rate than before. Does anyone know if account will be suspended due to there are too many rejected image?

I am concerning if rejection rate keep high, than will lead to account ban.

The common understanding is that maintaining an acceptance rate above 50% is best. Anything less than that and you're wasting your time and Adobe's. However, I know of no specific guideline / rule in this regard.

Not really. On average, for every asset I have accepted, two to three are rejected for being similar.

hello Daniel L  I came across your portfolio, and it looks like a very beautiful one. If you're free, please reply to this when you can. I generate images through MidJourney. Most of the images that include people tend to get rejected. That happens due to quality issues. Could you please tell me how to upscale photos that include people?........

Recently, I uploaded and verified vector files (EPS, SVG). I awarded them the AI tick because they were created by AI. I submitted over a hundred vector files, and each one was accepted without being rejected. Under Similar Image, not a single vector file was rejected.

Hello, 8 photos were rejected as similar images. Every travel photo is unique with different descriptions from different places. The problem is that I have never uploaded such photos before. It's a mistake. What should I do?

Unfortunately, there is no recourse to dispute the findings of the Moderators. Many other Contributors are reporting unjustified rejections based on "similars". I have the same problem with my travel images. They are most definitely not similars. I have decided to stop submitting new assets for now until Adobe provides some clarity on this situation.
