Good evening,I edited a sequence with Premiere Pro CC 2017 with an input file in 4K of 2 hours (3,5 Go), in a sequence in resolution 1280x720 (for Vimeo): the export to H264 format in minimum and maximum speed 5, in VBR 2 passes is announced by Media Encoder to last 24 hours. I am pretty new to After Effects and I am trying to work on a VR project. I have created animations with transparent backgrounds and when I add them to the Render Queue I read on a different forum answer to change it to RGB + Alpha, and change Quicktime to Quicktime PNG. When I try to save it as Quicktime PNG I dont have all the options shown in the photo in the other post and I definitely do not have the PNG. I am using this video with ar.js so I need it to be less than 4MB, and MP4. What do I do? Thanks!

It used to work fine but since 1 week I am facing this problem. I cannot open it and only displays this message. I have tried to reinstall it many times but still the same thing comes again and again. Please help me

So, things have been working fine up to now. just yesterday, premiere pro started only importing sound from videos. I tried re-encoding the video, but got this error instead. Hi I'm having an issue with Media Encoder on my new render server.The problem is that various GPU accelerated effects, mainly glow bases ones as they are most obvious, are not rendering as they should, I.e. not leveraging the GPU at all as though I am rendering in software mode, despite the GPU being heavily utilised when rendering and After Effects displaying and rendering them fine internally.I don't have this problem on my main PC which is in itself a problem since I built the server so that I could use that instead.Cuda does appear on the renderer list and is selected.Any ideas please tell me as I'm losing my patience here.Server specs.Dual X5675 Xeons (12 Cores 24 Threads)24GB DDR3 RamGTX 1060 3GB (Couldn't afford a quadro)8 port LSI raid controller1TB WD SSHD for the boot drive24TB Raid 5 Array256GB Samsung SSD for the scratch diskMedia Encoder v12.0 (Updating to v12.1 seemed to actually make things worse as GPU usage hit 0% and render times tanked.)Again rendering from After Eff

Pardon some the tediousness of this, but I wanted to be as clear, as I am thorough in regards to what steps I've taken to attempt to rectify these problems.As mentioned, neither my libraries nor Dynamic Link are working, or my cloud files themselves retrievable in this environment.I have more than enough horsepower, and more than enough allocated to CC.I checked AME error logsI uninstalled all appsI signed out of CCI uninstalled CCI executed Adobe Cleaner(I went through and deleted all additional files in AppData and Documents that cleaner nor uninstall cover)I pulled up the log report and though the manifest listed many problems of location, I figured if they've been deleted and cleared out, that would bebetter than knowing they are placed in a wrong location. There are some additional cues in there of which I have no idea as to what they are, but perhaps you can determine a problem from those logs. I'm used to having to stop the dynamic link process and media encoder if I plan on reopening the program and using it more than once... but now even doing that won't get the dynamic link server to connect, it just hangs there...No updates available, this is the updated version that doesn't work.I know I'm not the only one with this issue, what's the deal... media encoder is supposed to make exporting easier not completely impossible.

Hi Everyone, Starting yesterday, I could no longer export items to the queue in Media Encoder.  After I 'export' and send the queue, Media Encoder opens but nothing appears in the queue window.  It just stays blank.  Any suggestions.  Both apps are 12.1.2 (build 69) and I'm on a Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6, Thanks. I'm having issues exporting my After Effects file to an MP4 File. I'm using a modified version of the "YouTube 2160p 4K" preset. Everything was pretty much left the way it was except where I checked the "Use Maximum Render Quality" checkbox and changed the audio sample rate down to "44100 Hz". Previous files exported correctly as one MP4 file with this method, but this one seems to act strange. It renders an MP4 file that's just the audio of the project, and a corrupt M4V file that has numbers after the project name. For Example: OBS003.aep = OBS003.mp4 and OBSOO3.10988.303321.m4v. I've rendered it numerous times and each time, the corrupt file's name is always different and varies in size. I've tried to purge the cache in AE/AME and reset the computer--but I still get the same end result. I've tried to recreate the AE Project from scratch and ended up with the same result. Hello, I typically do a lot of little exports from a single edit and use AME to queue them for one session of export.  Didn't used to have a problem with memory, but lately if I do 1/2 as much at a time as I used to my 32GB RAM computer runs out of memory.  I've noticed that if I open up Activity Monitor, AME creates a PProHeadless task that takes up about 1.30 GB per video clip I'm trying to export.  These PProHeadless tasks don't go away after a clip is done exporting and just keep stacking up until all memory is gone.  Is this an error on AME's side?  How can I get AME to stop stacking PProHeadless tasks that don't seem to be needed anymore after the clip is finished exporting?Thanks,

Adobe Media Encoder is stuck in "Software only" whenever I render out anything. Despite GPU engine being selected it refuses to use it. I have 2 GPU's in my workstation and both sit idol during AME renders. It goes straight to the CPU's every time.

I am trying to prep my blu ray using Blu-Disc, but first I need the right type of movie file.Blu-Disc supported file types are MPEG-2, H.264 and VC-1.The format I use is H.264 Blu-ray, 1080p, 23.976.The result is an .mp4 and a .wav but the .mp4 cannot be loaded into Blu-Disc.I don't understand, howcome when I render an H.264 Blu-Ray, I get a file type that Blu-Disc doesn't recognize? Encore even states that the file type will be a .m4v.Render setting:Result:

Dear all,today i was working with PR2018 (second to last version) with about 200 sequence. In every sequence, i've marked in and out (to cut clip after ciak and before the stop).In order to export fast, i copied PR project in 3 pc Win10 with the same PR2018 version and i queued in AME about 70 clip each computer.In one computer, AME doesn't consider in and out marker and i exported 70 whole sequence (i noticed only after queue finished...).Which step i missed? How can i set AME to consider in and out marker in multiple export? In AME i tried this step: selected all clip in queue, click on the first clip setting, changing in "in - out", but only setting in this sequence was changed, not in the ohter 69 sequence...Thanks in advance.

I need to re-install AME 2015.3 but it does not appear as a previous version on my Creative Cloud apps page.  Is there some other place I can download and install this version?

Hello forum folks,I've had encoding issues since upgrading to High Sierra / CC2018. on a MacPro 5,1, dual 3.46 6core , 48GB, GTX980ti 6GB, OS 10.13.5.Had almost no issues on Yosemite / CC2017.Now when encoding to h.264. If I encode to 720 I get hardware encoding. If I encode the same file to 1080 I only get software encoding.I've just selected the Vimeo or Youtube presets for either frame size, it doesn't matter.Why would 1080 cause this behaviour?I can repeat this on other similar machines.I've been reading on other forums folks having all sorts of problems encoding and Adobe is saying that the hardware is not compatible.Obviously the hardware is compatible If 720 works perfectly, why cripple the 1080?Bruce

So in my preset I have selected to verify the transfered files, however once Media Encoder is finished the task there is no window to confirm that the files were verified successfully.

Hello!I publish directly to Youtube a lot in Media Encoder. It used to work like a charm but ever since installing CC 2018, it fails almost every time.When I look at the Error Log, it tells me that its because I wasn't logged in or had invalid credentials which isn't true. I have logged in and out and even re-installed 2018 Encoder.Anyone else have this issue and or have a solution?Thanks!

Like, is 40,000 handles enough for working with a 30 or so video clips?  What...do you need one per video frame?  Left idle the handle count keeps climbing up and up... and up.  I don't think I even have to open a prproj...

I'm trying to expedite my transcoding workflow for this particular project, with scores of clips to review.My HPX170 records up to 4 audio channels, and in this case I i have my current preset configured to take channels 1 and 2 as mono tracks, and 3 and 4 as stereo. On testing this is working properly.However, we now know that we ONLY want source channel 2 (cleanest audio) on the output files.I can't figure out how change the preset to map source channel 2 to a single output track. I can delete 3-4 without issue, but when I delete track 1 in hopes of keeping only 2, the resulting output has source channel 1 instead of channel 2 as the lone track.I may be missing something obvious to a more seasoned user.Thoughts?

I have been having trouble on my 2012 MacBook Pro with 8GB ram a 2.3GHz Intel Core i7 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024MBIntel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB graphics. I am not able to import 4k footage and edit in Premiere, so created an ingest setting to make a proxy to work with a smaller file. Adobe support recommended also changing the renderer to the metal version which worked when I was on the phone with them, but each time I am importing footage and using Media Encoder to create the proxy, my computer screen just shuts off. Sometimes the entire system restarts and I get an Apple warning that there was an error that made the system shut down, and sometimes the screen just goes black, and the keyboard stays lit up. In that case I have to manually power down by pressing the power button until it shuts off. I send the reports to Apple when I restart the computer. I've been using the Adobe suite for about 3 years now. Back when I first started using it in 2015, I swear that when exporting from Premiere through Media Encoder, it would take very little to no time at all for the data to transfer to Media Encoder. I could hit "Queue" in Premiere, then click over to Media Encoder, and the file would already be ready to encode. I could hit the "play" button and start the encode right away. Maybe I would have to wait like 10 seconds at most. No matter how big the timeline/project was (be it 1-min video or a 2 hour video) it would always just shoot right over to Media Encoder once I hit "Queue". I feel like something has changed in maybe the last year or so... now it ALWAYS takes forever to transfer over. Even 1 min timelines take like 5 minutes to transfer. Longer timelines can take ever longer... What changed? Did Adobe change something about the way Media Encoder transfer the data over or something? Why did it go from always working like a dream to a
