Win 10 ProPPRO 14.0.1 build 71AE 17.0.2 build 26AME 14.0.1 build 70 When I export from PPRO via AME, AME starts. When I click the green play button to start rendering nothing happens. Sometimes it keeps saying Reading XMP and displaying the blue but it doesn't start rendering. Reinstall of AME did not work. Checking/unchecking import PPRO sequences natively in AME did not work. Direct export from PPRO doesn't work also. I used self created (in AE) .mogrt file. Is that the problem? HELP please, have some clients waiting! Thanks,Levi

Did you know that you can bypass the Export Mode in Premiere Pro by pressing Option-Shift-M to send a sequence directly to Adobe Media Encoder. This shortcut has been added to Premiere Pro 23.3.
Hello, I have a ProRes file with 8 audio channels. I have to encode an h264 from this and only consider audio tracks 1 & 2 as a stereo mix. I can't find any options with the "h264-Preset", with the "Quicktime-Preset" I can find the option to map the audio, but I have no option to select h264 as the codec. am i too stupid or is the media encoder just not able to create such a file?
We have identified a file name issue affecting H.264 and HEVC/H.265 exports on Windows with Media Encoder 23.1 The issue impacts H.264 and HEVC/H.265 exports to folders with names that use double-byte characters, such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or extended ASCII characters, like accents and umlauts. Affected users will see this message: File importer detected an inconsistency in the file structure of %filename.mp4%. Reading and writing this file’s metadata (XMP) has been disabled. We will inform you when a fix is available. If you are experiencing this issue, use one of these options: Choose an export destination folder that uses only single-byte ASCII English characters (no accents, umlauts, etc.) Export to a different format, such as Apple ProRes. For H.264 exports only: disable hardware-accelerated encoding.
So I spent a couple weeks diving into the 1.0 docs that were released last month (https://readthedocs.org/projects/ame-scripting-guide/downloads/pdf/latest/) and have gotten some things to work, namely launching AME command line with a JSX file and getting it to clear the queue, populate it and start rendering. But there are some functions that aren't working for me: I can't get the dynamic setting of FPS, Width, Height or Frame Range to work. I'm using the app.getFrontend().addFileSequenceToBatch() function to create an item from an image sequence, and my hunch is that those attributes are only supported with addFileToBatch for some reason. It would be HUGE if I could leverage that, right now I'm dynamically creating presets to do all but Frame Range setting and it works, but it's an unnecessarily heavy lift and creates tons of presets that need to be cleaned up.I can't figure out whether the writeln print statements go...they don't echo in a shell/console I can find and

Could someone please tell me how i can stop the looping of a gif when i export it in Adobe Media Encoder? I have designed an 8 second composition in After Effects and I want to save it as an animated GIF but only want it to play once, not continuously loop. Is there a way of doing this? Thanks
Since updating to the 22 version of AME, when a file finshes rendering it plays the sheep sound, and not the finished chime. These file are finished successfuly, but it plays the sound for a failed render each time. Is anyone else having this problem?

I have a good number of still sequences that need to be encoded. Right now I'm dragging them from their respective individual folders into the queue one at a time. Is there a faster way to get them into the queue basket?
Been trying to get AME 2020 to encode in 4K HEVC (H265), but I get a very quick fail every time, with error code 7 (Out of Memory) in the logs. Reinstalled AME 2019: it works like a charm. So: rollback to 2019 for me, and will wait for some updates to AME 2020 first. @Adobe Support: If you read this, I'd like to report this as a bug.
Is there a reason why the application takes so long to start up? I mean we have MacPros 2019 with multiple processors and 96gigs of RAM. But AME is the slowest app to open out of all the Adobe apps. Always has been. Is there something I'm missing? Why so slow?
I'm Trying to import Premiere sequences in Media Encoder, but they have media offline. So I heard unchecking the "import sequence natively" option will solve the problem but I can't uncheck it why ?
Well it's another day and Dynamic Link is stopping me from getting my work done yet again. New computer, new install of both AE and ME latest versions. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled, nuked all prefs, reset to default everything (including, at some point, WORKSPACES was causing Dynamic Link to break??? Insane.). ME can't connect to Dynamic Link servcer. When I send to ME from AE, it again never connects. When I drag a project directly into the ME window, it can't connect. I left it attempting to connect overnight last night. 2022 Mac Studio M1 Ultra on Ventura 13.2.1, all Creative Cloud is up to date.
New 23 Media Encoder just drops dead (crashes) on the start with an errorAnd CC doestnt has an option to return to the older versions! Now how do i supposed to make my job?Mac OS 12.6 (21G115)
Hi there! There's a problem with Media Encoder. After successfully rendering some other projects, now it doesn't seem to work anymore.I exported an animation from Adobe After Effects to the Media Encoder Queue, and I wanted to export it as a mp4 file.As you can see, I already waited for more than half an hour. What to do? I'm kind of new to the field of working with these apps, so hopefully there is an easy fix. Thank you in advance!
So after upgrading to 2017, I am having issues with encoding videos now. Basically created a 'split-screen' video, but when I go to encode it to H.264 format, one of the video clips is shown as missing. Go back to premiere, preview, the whole thing, and it's all there. Go to export, getting frustrated.Any one have this happen, have a fix, a workaround? After working almost 6 hours on this video, bit tired. Here's a screenshot:
I have been working on a video in Adobe Effects and have not had any issues exporting it to Media Encoder until recently. I deleted some of the older files I was working on so that I didn't get confused about which one I was working on, but then Media Encoder wouldn't work and would give me an error saying I deleted the files in OneDrive and to restore them from the OneDrive recycle bin. So I did that, but it's still not working. In fact, I'm no longer getting that error pop-up, but now it's not working at all! What did I do wrong, and how do I fix it?
I don't remember having this issue with other software, but still I'm not sure if it's Adobe or Apple problem...My iMac is set to sleep after some time. if I leave AME rendering for a long time and go away, when I come back, I find my iMac in sleep mode, and AME paused rendering. When I wake the Mac, AME continues rendering as if nothing happened.it is pretty frustrating to actually remember and go and change my Power settings each time I need to use AME. I would expect that a rendering software will be smart enough to keep the Mac awake, but alas - it doesn't...
I'm having troubleshooting with exporting from premier pro to Media EncoderPlease give me some advice or help for this problem solvingThank you!
I had been using AME CC 2018 for some time problem free. Then just last week, for some reason, it started refusing to start up for no apparent reason. It goes through the usual start up procedure, then gives me an error message: File exception: /Users/******/Documents/Adobe/Adobe Media Encoder/12.0/WSMgrCfgAdobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue.(I starred my user folder name out on purpose.)I have tried the fix on one of the other pages in which you delete the typesupport folder in ~Library/Caches/Adobe/Adobe Media Encoder/12.0. This does nothing to fox the problem for me. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!DF
Hi there,I have a custom Windows computer with a 10 core Intel i9 10900K, with an Nvidea 3070TI. Whenever I render heavy 8K footage, both hardly get over 30% of usage, with some brief spikes for the CPU of 50 to 60%. I have read through multiple posts on Reddit and this forum and I understand that they shouldn't be on 100%. My question for you however is; is this normal, or can I change some setting for Media Encoder or Premiere Pro for it to utilize the horsepower in my PC more. Thanks in advance!
Windows 10 Pro 21H2Driver nvdia: 516.9448-core AMD Threadripper CPU, 96 GB of RAM, RTX 3090 GPU, and all hardrives are SSD.After effects 22.2Adobe Media Encoder 22.6.4 An editor told me the AME encoder is more slow than after effects on this machine. Should Adobe Media Encoder encode as fast as the After Effects Render with the multi-frame rendering option activated? When i am encoding from after effects and one 1080p composition takes 10-5 min to complete on a mov file but on the AME takes almost 1h-40min. The cpu on After Effects encoding reach to the 20% and the ram reach the 80Gb but on AME encoding the cpu reach the 2 % and the ram 5Gb on the AME process and on After proccess reach 2% and 20 GB. When i send a composition to the AME queue, the AME puts the codec h264 and it doesn't keep the codec and the container especified on AFter Effects when i sent it. Is it normal? Do you have noticed this diferent times of encoding? Or maybe something wrong on this machi
