Can’t find my scans

I saved  documents scans to PDFs , then shared by email  ( my own email ) as I thought that I would have a back up .

 They were in my inbox  but now they aren't in the adobe scan history or my email .

 

any ideas  any one ? 

im not  very  tech savvy. but needed to copy  documents for my work and used to  photo copy everything , I thought this was a great solution  and it seemed to work really well , so I don't know what happened  or how to get them back ..

Here is some basic information on how to find scans: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/adobescan/android/en/findingfiles.html
Alternatively, you can check your scans on Cloud: http://documentcloud.adobe.com/ you need to make sure you are using the same Adobe ID(email id registered with Adobe) on the cloud as you did on the app. You should be able to see your scans unless you manually deleted those files or you used a different Adobe ID.
