I just lost some work after opening a document. What was presented was by no means the latest version. I tried to refer to the document history and it's just greyed out. The document had been saved at least 8 times before this happened. How do I fix the lack of history? Is this loss common?   {Renamed By MOD}

Just started to notice today... when selectig objects inside components, these aren't highlighted in the corresponent left Layer's tab. Forcing now to look for all the elements one by one.1 . Top component keeps highlighted...2 . While selected object should be highlighted.     

Hi guys, I am looking to produce a prototype like the following link: https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/ocean-shock-norway/ I cant find a tutorial for it anywhere? Anyone got any ideas please? Is it parallax scrolling I should be searching tutorials for? Can it be done using images and video collectively? How do I plan the timing of the text to appear and disappear with a pause before the next image or video .... I AM PERPLEXED. Please someone ... save me! I am evaluating some apps for my company and installed first only XD on my WIndows 10 system. I have asked NOT to upgrade my apps and NOT to start CC on boot.  Still Adobe apps use over 700 MB memory and sometimes up to 25% CPU on a i9 system.  Have tried reboot.What is going on Adobe, you exclude yourself this way.  What if all software behaved like this?  If I ask a software NOT to start on startup, I expect it to use no resources until I start it.

Hi! My customer want me to give him a final layouts of my web-design project as a pds file. But making web-design at photoshop is really a bad experience) So, is there are any ways I can make my project in XD and convert it to psd for developers?

Hello Team, Version: 33.1.12 Windows 10 Pro, with Hebrew additional language set CTRL+Z (Undo) stops working suddenly, only returns after restarting XD.May be triggered by the switching of input Language (ctrl+shift) When pasting Hebrew text that contains a backslash / into a text box, XD repeatedly crashes. Also happens when stripping tags by copy-pasting to notepad, then from notepad to XD.   Thanks!   {Renamed By MOD}  

Hi, Running the latest version of XD on MacOs Catilina on MacBook Pro. I have been experiencing this problem for a while now over several version.  Bug details: When using XD the canvas / editing area suddenly starts flashing red and becomes unusable. When mouse movement stops canvas becomes solid red. Have to completely restart XD to fix the problem, unsaved work often lost [UPDATE:] with autosave to the cloud occassionally unsaved work seems to be lost - think this could be due to the app being restarted before it's had a chance to send (/save) latest changes to the cloud. Please see the attached video for an example. Please fix......... Thanks Liam  

The first image is a screenshot of the desired look and the second (darker) is directly exported from XD. I have tried exporting in every format and nothing comes even remotely close to my artboards. It's maiking it impossible to communicate with clients. How do I solve this?

Hey everyone! Has anybody use adobe XD and created a prototyping video on Photoshop? For some reason the quality of render video from photoshop seems to quite low. I basically found a mockup, change the mockup screen with an XD recording and render video. Wondering if anyone knows how to export photoshop video with higher quality? I'd appreciate the help!

Adobe XD is unable to save my custom grid settings (gutter/column widths, margins, etc.) as my default, no matter how many times I click "Make Default." Every new project would have it reset to Adobe XD's original grid settings. I've only been using Layout grids so far, not sure about the others.

Hey there,    I'm brand new to XD and in the How To videos there was a section on accessing and using wireframes for basic setup/layout options.  In the video it showed how to access wireframes by clicking file within XD, scrolling to "Get UI Kits" and then clicking the "Wireframes" option.   When I went into the app to try this out, there was no Wireframes option (see attached photo), there was only the Apple, Google, and Microsoft kit options and then the "More UI Kits" options.  When I checked out those I was a little lost on what to get and how to open each within XD.  So my question is, is there a way to add the Wireframes option or do I need to create my own and once that happens will they be saved as such?   If I do need to create my own, are there any kits you guys would reccomend?    Let me know, and thanks so much!   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Hello,We want to create a file with .xd extension and want to upload using XD plugin. we are able to do with pdf/png/svg/jgp using createRendition feature but we are unable to save file with  .xd extension using plugin code. Is there any other way to create .xd file like "Save As Local Document" but programatically?? Help me out..! ThanksManoj

I'm creating a component that shows user rating on click. which basically expands in size when clicked/hovered. So, i'm looking if there a way for the adjacent elements to react according to the current state of the component? I mean this is possible using stack in design mode, but when we preview the design, the elements don't adjust dynamically.

In design mode, sometimes I select a layer in the layer window and use the arrow keys to adjust it's position. Sometimes, doing this, it moves the element. Other times it changes the selection of the layer windows. And other times, it does nothing.   Why does it have 3 behaviours? How each one is triggered?   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Is there a way to have a set of colour swatches which can then be swapped out for a completly different set? I want to theme an application and will have colours for say buttons and navbar, and in an instant want to swap between theme 1 and theme 2. I have seen that iOS and macOS support realtime preview of prototype. I am an android user with a Windows 10 user, there is no provision for me to preview my prototype in realtime. The only possible way is to have a cloud document and preview it using the Adobe XD android app, it is not an actual real-time solution. It sucks to exit the prototype on the mobile app and relaunch it again. I can't really stress how much I need that real-time preview being supported for the Windows and Android combination. I don't know if this feature has been requested, yet. This would be a life-improving million-dollar feature for me.It works for iOS and macOS, works for Windows and iOS, it also works for macOS and Android. Please bring support for Android and Windows. I am exhausted with exiting and relaunching the prototype for every pixel change I do.    {Renamed By MOD}

I'm designing a screen with elements with dynamic height. Depending on its' states, the size can be taller or smaller. I arranged these elements one under the other, grouped and checked the stacks feature. In design mode, when I select one element's state with taller height, all other components go down due to stack feature. I noticed that while previewing this screen, changing components' state isn't changing others position, like the stack feature doesn't work. My question is; the stack feature works in design mode only? How could I achieve the desired effect? 

Hi,  I created my designs in illustrator with some of my shapes using gradients. When I import these shapes to Xd, the gradient disappears. This is not happening for all gradients but only a few. (please see files attached)G Could you please help me solve this issue?  Thanks a lot,Julia

HELP! I've created a development preview and used comments to explain all of the UI & UX requirements for our developers. But somehow, after 2 weeks, all comments have disappeared from the preview.Does anyboady know how to fix this?

I am using the latest version of XD and the appliation keeps crashing.. I have lost many work and effort.. 

About a week ago I was working on a rather large file (~190mb) within XD that contained a lot of Illustration work imported/copied from Illustrator with some UI elements ...Realise XD perhaps not best tool for dense Illustration pieces/management but Iwas passed an earlier version of this file to work on.I allowed Xd to update to version 32 app but I was subddenly unable to open the same file I'd literally just been working on prior to update - file progress bar gets about 1/3 of way across and XD shuts down.When I opened XD again it actually showed a preview in 'Recent documents' panel of file I need. Luckily I saw I could rollback to an older version and following that I was able to open & continue working on file. Since then I had to update the XD app again so I could open a file from a colleague as it was 'made with a newer version of the software'. Now I have to make an edit to the older Illustration based file and again the XD application crashes during file load - I hav
