AE bug

In windows I have the AE pinned to the taskbar, when I hover over the icon I see a thumbnail of my file, however AE will not load the file in full preview? I have:

  • restarted 
  • uninstalled & reinstalled

My graphics card is up to date, what actually fixed this is reseting preferences (holding alt shift control upon launching).

Without any actual system info we can't really tell you much. presumably it's simply something with the hardware acceleration functions which may be entirely only an issue on your system, but not elsewhere. feel free to experiment with your graphics driver and the relevant settings, but to be honest, if it's really just that tiny thing with the air preview, then it's probably not worth it.
