After Effects scissors tool

Hi, I can't find the scissors nor the razor tool in After Effects 2019. I already tried some of the advice in here but got no result.

Plus the app keys crashing while trying to use several of its contents at the same time.

    After Effects is not a video editing app. There is no scissors or razor tool. You can set the in and out point of a layer using Alt/Option + [ or Alt/Option + ]

     

    It sounds like you are new. You'll never understand how to use AE by just poking around in the UI. I suggest you start here: User Guide
