Preview glitch [16"MacBook Pro] [After Effects]

Using new Macbook Pro 2019 16in, brand new just downlaoded and can't seem to view anything I import? I've tried lots of differnt files, the preview screen is gltichy before I even imporant anyhting. When I zoom in and out the glitch moves around, at a certain point it shows the footage clear, oddly it works fine in 2 View tho.

Any help would be amazing! I've spent ages online and couldnt find anyone with the same issue.

I'm facing the same problem but with Premiere Pro - any zoom level other than "Fit" will produce nothing but glitches. Will there be a patch for PP too?

Thanks for reaching out. After Effects engineering team is aware of the preview issues on MacBook Pro 16inch and they are working on a fix. In the meantime you can try turning on Rulers as suggested on this post or install the previous version of After Effects.
