Hi,I'm trying to build a ANE for Mac OSX. I setup XCode 5.1 and was following this two tutorials:http://riawanderer.com/2012/03/27/working-with-air-native-extensions-on-the-mac/http://quetwo.com/2011/12/03/working-with-air-native-extensions-on-the-mac/To get the project setup.I'm finding that Adobe AIR.framwork in folder /runtimes/air/mac is 32-bit, but XCode has deprecated 32-bit...so I'm finding this error when I try to build the project:error: -fobjc-arc is not supported on platforms using the legacy runtimeCommand /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/clang failed with exit code 1So right now ANE development for Mac OSX is broke since I can't build a cocoa framework library due to 32-bit deprecation and Adobe not updating the library since 2011I'm right or maybe I'm missing something.Hope someone could give some path to solve this since it's very frustrating to deal with this stuff to see there's no update for this basic libraries fo

There has been no way to upload my animation to youtube because sfws don't work in premium now. Besides that, my premiere trial is ending in a few weeks so after that what program can I use to upload my animations? Thanks.

I developed my app for iOS using Adobe Flash CC with AIR SDK 18.0 running on Windows 7. My app does not require nor communicate with the internet/network data to work.Unfortunately, my binary is rejected by Apple due to:"During review, we found that your app does not load its contents and stays blank when the device is connected to a cellular network or Wi-Fi network.Please review the Reachability iPhone program code sample that demonstrates the use of the System Configuration Reachability API to detect the absence of Wi-Fi and Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) services. Your app can then take appropriate action at the first point where network services are required."Apple took a screenshot of my app, which showed a black screen.I have tested the app on personal iPhone 5 (on airplane mode and with wifi/data turned on) without issues; at this point, I'm not sure what's causing the error or how to go about fixing it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Folks,I'm being asked to build a cross platform mobile app in Air using the camera class and starling. Originally you couldn't use the camera for GPU accelerated apps which starling runs on. Does anyone know if this is now possible?Cheers,Peter

Hi,With the latest AIR sdk our app crashes at startup. Until now, when publishing to AIR from Flash Professional, I could manually edit the app descriptor XML with a little workaround: 1. Set up my publish settings in Flash Professional and click OK2. Then edit the XML file and save it3. Then Publish from Flash Professional WITHOUT opening the Publish Settings again (which would recreate the XML file).This has been CRUCIAL to me in order to add certain elements to the XML file such as <extensions> I want to include with my project.However, this seems impossible to do with the 3.4 AIR SDK release version. When I try, it ignores my manual edits of the XML file and simply removes them when I publish. This is a HUGE problem because now I can no longer add <extensions> in the app descriptor file (and this can't be done from the Flash Professional GUI).Anyone have ANY idea how to keep adding my extensions to the app descriptor file?

I have made a bunch of animations in Flash, and I have some actionscript in there that should only work in Air(I didn't know that when I made them), and now what I need to do is convert it into an Air document. There seems to be no easy way to do this, am I just not seeing it? Thanks.

Quick question for the AIR dev team.Will Workers for iOS be a priority for AIR 18 beta, or are there any concrete plans for iOS workers?i've been longing for this feature for quite some time now, it kind of sucks to have to maintain 2 versions of my code to support both Android and iOS.

Hi,I just noted that the Kindle Fire HD 7 shows app icons quite prominent in the center of the screen with a huge size, and our app icon appears SUPER blurry. The documentation states that the maximum icon size for android is 144x144, but sometimes the documentation isn't up to date. So my question: Is there any icon size larger than 144x144 supported for Android builds already? If not, any plans to extend the support for Kindle Fire HD and the likes?Thanks

Hi All,        My mobile game android app should be in landscape mode, when I maximize after minimize the app it will display in landscape mode and screen not rotated, but the problem is height and width are interchanged. So it was displayed half of the screen only remaining was blank screen, if we lock and unlock the device, automatically the height and widths are fit according to screen size.                     I handled the above problem using Event.ACTIVATE, if app is active then i reset the width and height. But it is also not working in some devices.

I have been using adobe download assistant to login and install a trial product of dreamweaver, when I come to attempt to try this I go ahead and update adobe air as it required a update. Adobe air crashed completely to the point when I wanted shut all adobe programs off. This hasn't been the first time it happened, it did it twice. Adobe cant do nothing about it! Is there a way I can fix the adobe air crash? Thank you.

I have an App to playback RTMP live stream, it works very well on AIR SDK 4.0, but google playstore noticed me to upgrade because of OpenSSL. Same problem in all cases. That works fine with Windows.With this issue we cannot create good user interfaces because we don't know maximum supported touch points for device. Hi.I would like to open a file with registered handlers on a mobile system, and I'm wondering, is there a way to do this in AIR for mobile?I've tried using URI schemes, but that does not work... File.openWithDefaultApplication() does not work on mobile systems 😕😕Any ideas?

After sending days jumping the 17 thousand flaming hoops that Apple makes you do, i got my p12 and user profile and was able to make an IPA on my PC and then moved it by USB to my Mac added to the Apps, synced and uploaded to Ipad2 only for the App to display only a black screen.I know its reading something as the time and power still display and when i did it a second time and published as Iphone the App showed a black screen but was zoomed in (i.e. time and battery bigger). It seems to not be reading the swf, but thats a guess. The App is nothing more than a simple moving box as i wanted to test i could get it from PC to Ipad before building any further.ANy help would be greatly appreciated as this is for my work.

Hi,I have been trying to publish a game i'm developing in Adobe Flash CS6 using the Adobe Air platform.I have done this countless times before, I am not new to developing in Flash.Even if everyone thinks HTML5 will take over because "Flash is dead" I still think it is a great developing platform.I'm having trouble getting my APK files to run under Android 5.0.2 (Lolipop) for no apparent reason. If i choose to install AIR separately, it works. If i choose to embed it into the APK, it gives an error immediately after launching the app.There are no error codes and nothing i can reference. just an "Application failed to start" error.I would appreciate if anyone could help, thanks.

Hi,I am currently working on adding mobile packaging to Flexmojos. While most formats seem to be producing useable output the IPA file created seem to be having problems. I am able to install the app on my iphone, but as soon as I want to start it the app icon becomes dark and the label "Installing ..." ... When creating the IPA with IntelliJ the App seems to be working nicely. So I ended up comparing the working and the not working ipa file and I could see that the Executable in the working one is about 15MB big, and in the not working one it's 0byte big. So I guess this is the main problem. Another difference I could see, is that the working ipa contains the SWF with about the same size as the original SWF file, but the not working one is only one third of that size ... so eventually there's a second problem which I need to sort out first.Here comes the command I am using to generate the output (Currently I copy part of the air SDK to the /DukeCon-Flex/core/target/adt directory):/Duk

[ErrorEvent type="error" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #3004: Insufficient file space." errorID=3004]This randomly happens on iOS 5 when I do addBitmapData to add photos to the Camera Roll. The device has got 4.6 gigabytes of free space. Sometimes it works fine, and sometimes it randomly fails and has this error.This does not appear to be happening on my iPhone 5. As long as the photo access hasn't been disabled in privacy settings, the addBitmapData always seems to succeed.Using AIR 3.5 beta, I think this was happening in 3.4 too though.Why does it do this and how do I fix it?

So I don't want to upload my apps to the google play and iOS stores with the "air." prefix on their package names. I've seen a guide to do this here, but it seems to be very error-prone. Now, on stack overflow, there was one answer to this question (here) that mentioned a much simpler method: set the environment variable AIR_NOANDROIDFLAIR to true and export your app.So I've set this variable on mac and tried exporting an app, but it remains with the air prefix. I tried looking around the web to see if I was following the advice correctly and found that environment variable trick mentioned only on two stack overflow answers. Is that thing legit?My publishing setup is mac with adobe flash builder 4.6, if this helps. I'm used with exporting apps via the "Export Release Build" button.
