I have an ad hoc app developed for my client a year ago. It has been installed on an ipad air 2013 (not ipad air2) The ipad needs to be replaced, and my client is asking for recommendations for a new one. Unfortunately, my developer died suddenly, and I have not located someone to offer advice to me. I THINK I recall him telling me that a system change could render the app useless. I do not remember if it was ios, hardware or both. I'm guessing ios, but with hardware updates since 2013, I'm not sure. I don't want to hamstring my client with an old device, if they can safely upgrade. (The app will only be used for another year, if I'm not mistaken) But I also don't want them to have to rebuild (other than adding the device id) for the remaining time. Is there anything I need to know in order to recommend a new device to my client?
I have done an animation in swf file and now I want to use it on the mobile phone that uses android huawei honor 9. I have installed the adobe air app in huawei. I have done from the image.swf file to an image.apk file in the program animate CC. When I download the file from honor 9, google chrome says it's a malicious file ie .apk file. Can not read. Why doesn't it work?

Hi,I'm trying to use appcompat-v7 in my ANE and access it via the R.* mechanism.The packaging step of the ANE works fine.However, when building the final .apk using this ANE, the styleable elements disappear. The other resources (such as drawables, etc) are present just fine in the output. The artifacts I'm using are classes.jar and the res folder from inside the .aar for appcompat-v7: \android-sdk\extras\android\m2repository\com\android\support\appcompat-v7\19.0.1\appcompat-v7-19.0.1.aar The end result is that the generated apk contains and R file for this library, and an R.styleable, but it's empty (by comparison in a properly built non-air android app this R.styleable would contain quite a few different fields). The other R. classes seem to be properly populated with a merge of the resource ids - R.string, R.layout, etc.Here's (a trimmed down version) of the platform.xml I'm using when packaging the ANE:<platform xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/air/extension/4.0">

Hello there,I'm currently develop a Kiosk project and I encountered with Two Fingers Tap problem.My entire app is using Multitouch.inputMode = MultitouchInputMode.TOUCH_POINT; BUT when I publish it as AIR 26.0 for Desktop and tested it on Kiosk Touchscreen, there's a weird square appeared for a second when 2 points touched at the same time across the screen or one point is pressing and another point just tap. It looks like when we press and hold on folder to right click, but this happened with two fingers tap instead of press and hold.My app can't be interacted when this happened.I've tried remove 'press and hold as right click' from windows 10 touch setting but it's still there in AIR only.None of other programs on windows react to two fingers tap like this.Could you please help? I cannot verify from which version of AIR for iOS started to have this issue but we were able to load images (JPG, PNG, BMP), Microsoft Word, PPTX, and Excel files using StageWebView up to AIR 25 for iOS. Now they are not showing up anymore through StageWebView.Is it related to the webkit in AIR changed to WKWebView and it's not supporting those file types any more? Any work around to load these file types?Thanks for any insight/advice.

I sell a desktop software product for Windows and Mac built using Actionscript/Adobe Air, the product is currently licenced using Wyday Lime LM. I am considering leaving Lime LM because of the following. Every X days Lime LM plug-in connects to the internet to validate that the product key is still active. If the product key is active the software continues running, if the product key is no longer active the software reverts to trial mode. Here is the issue, if there is no internet connection, the software reverts to trial mode. If the user has no internet connection they are unable to reactivate the software. I would like to add a dialogue in the software, “Re-activation will occur in X days, re-activate now?” - this will give my users the opportunity to re-activate the software for the next X days so that they don’t have to worry about the product ceasing to work. Anyone else finding Apple is getting really strict with their reviews? I've had 3 apps rejected over the last month all for 4.3 design, spam.under the premise there are already similar apps on the app store. Two of them are completely original and there aren't any apps like them, one has a few apps that do a similar thing but in a different way with different features. Having no luck with appeals.My latest took me 6 months to develop and was rejected in 2 minutes - which isn't even enough time to open it and really understand what it does tbh.
I am having issues with finding the download file from the zip download of archived links for the Adobeair sdk download to download my purchased movies from VUDu not sure how to find this file once it has downloaded on my computer. Also i have tried to download the recent adobe air 30 file and VUDU does not support anything 30 and above.

Hi, I clean installed my mac os (High sierra 10.13.6) and I want to reinstall an app called "7 speed reading" using adobe air installer (the app must be installed using air) every time I run the installer I get following message: adobe air application installer quit unexpectedly. The company I work for makes an SDK which is wrapped by an AIR native extension. We have one client where when they use this ANE they experience exceptions on iOS 8.x, but not on iOS 9.0 or higher. I am attempting to download a game on Steam, and the download pauses saying that the there is a disk write error: "Contents/Frameworks/Adobe AIR.framework/Resourcces/cs.Iproj" I went to Steam forums and they have been unable to help me so far and none of the suggestions worked. Other games run on Steam but not the game I am attempting to download and run. Steam said it was an issue with the file contents above: Adobe AIR.framework/Resources/cs.Iproj.....I have redownloaded adobe air, run scans for viruses, rebooted everything, re downloaded steam, etc.....Anyone have any insight as to how this might get fixed? HI GUYSI AM USING LUBUNTU AND I WANT TO INSTALL ADOBE CS6 USING WINE CONFIG , BUT EVERYTIME I INSTALL IT GIVES ME A WINDOW POPUP SAYING "FAILED TO INITIALISED,DOWNLOAD ADOBE SUPPORT TO DETECT THE PROBLEM". I HAD DOWNLOADED THE ADOBE SUPPORD ADVISOR BUT CRASHED, I USED ADOBE CLEANER TOOL AND I DON'T HAVE ADOBE INSTALLED NOW SINCE I CANT RENAME THE OBB FILE . I have seen a drastic decrease of games downloads since the beginning of February. I have a really high ANR and Crash rate for games. I've been troubleshooting the games with different AIR SDK version but all bring the same or new errors. Example: My most common error,Input dispatching timed out (Waiting to send non-key event because the touched window has not finished processing certain input events that were delivered to it over 500.0ms ago. Wait queue length: 29. Wait queue head age: 20539.7ms.)This is really frustrating. Other users are experiencing the same issue. Is Google Play trying to kill AIR Games?
