Hi,Is it planned to migrate Air For Android from 32 to 64 bits ?On my side, I'm working with big database on SQLite, and got this limit: Tracker On the other side, I found multiple topics on internet telling there is a 2GB file size limit.So, I think this enhancement Tracker  could resolve the bug above.Am I right ?

Hi, In AIR 28, there was an issue with an extra padding being present at the top of a StageWebView. Adding "viewport-fit=cover" in the viewport meta tag solved the issue though (as explained here: Air 28 ios11 StageWebView unexpected padding at the top )In AIR 29 beta, I saw in the release notes this issue has been fixed. However, it seems to have introduced another issue. Indeed, on iOS 11 at least, now the StageWebView viewport Y value is offset a few pixels up. For example, if I tell the viewport to be (0, 40, 640, 900), the StageWebView is actually located around (0, 😎 and not (0, 40) as expected. This issue happens on iOS 11, not on Windows or Android. With AIR 28, it works fine (at least if I set the viewport tag to "viewport-fit=cover")Thank you!

As the title says, I'm seeing an odd red color shift in video included in an app on iOS. It's my understanding that only FLV video is supported on iOS for adobe air apps. I've been trying to export the FLV with a number of different color space settings but the odd color shift persists. This only happens on device and doesn't happen so far in android testing. Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, do you have any tips?Thanks for reading,-cybo

Dear Friends,While publishing my app with AirforIOS, iam getting this error "id: can't create buffer of 227268516 bytes for output for architecture arm64 - compilation failed while executing: Id64". What might be the reason. Please note that already I have compiled the same app several times, It was working fine. Now suddenly its giving me this error. Hello! I'm developing an AIR android app. I want to be able to write/read files in File.documentsDirectory, which is the Internal Storage folder in Android (I think, or Device Storage). I don't want the SD card, and not the App storage folder, but the folder which you can access through My files or via a PC when you connect the phone with a USB cable.So, File.documentsDirectory will get me there, but only if I go into the Application settings, click on my app, go to permissions, and click "Storage". Then it will work, otherwise not. I've already given the app permission to <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" /><uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" />That doesnt work, I need to go in manually in the permissions settings and add the Storage folder.I want this to be automatic, do I need to put a URI or something in the Application.xml?I'm stuck, please help me!Thanks in advanceCheers

I'm building an iPad app (Adobe AIR 28.0) for a corporate client, and I'm struggling to get it working when signing it using their enterprise certificate.What works:The IPA builds correctly and is successfully signed with their enterprise certificate and provisioning profile. The app is set to Ad Hoc, doesn't use a wildcard bundle ID (although their certs do: my app is com.companyname.thing, and their provisioning profiles/certs are com.companyname.*).If I use iTunes to install the application while connected via USB, it works correctly. Additionally if I select to install to a connected device during compilation in Adobe Animate it also works fine.Once installed, on the first run of the app it complains about not trusting the certificate (this is expected), and if I then go to Settings on the device and manually trust the cert, the application runs as expected. This is driving me bonkers, but I can't get hardware acceleration working in my AIR application, but if I publish it as a Flash application it works great.I am using Starling 2.3 in my application and it runs like butter when targeting Flash Player, not so much in the needed desktop AIR target.I'm running this on a Windows 10 64-bit machine with a Nvidia GTX 960. It fails to use hardware acceleration both in ADL and when published.Things I've tried:Set renderMode to directSet gpuPreference to discrete (and published, not just ADL)Set HW accelerated in Chrome, FireFox and IE (was already set)StageVideoAvailabilityEvent.driver gives me "GDI,NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960,"Waved my hands in circles and recited the arcane runes (mostly swear words)I'm hoping this is just me missing something super obvious.

I am finding out that Adobe Air is part of some of the Creative Cloud Application such as Captivate. I am trying to figure out how to remove Adobe Air can be removed from the package wit out hindering the software function. Adobe Air isn't approve for our network. 

Hello there,I currently cannot install an .air file because Adobe Air treats it as damaged. What can I do?Backstory: I've bought via physical CD an English test program (ie. TEST.air) that requires Adobe Air to install (obviously). All was good and dandy when I first installed Adobe Air (I think it was about version 23 or so), then installed TEST.air in a desktop computer, and it worked perfectly. So I decided to copy this same file to 3 more PCs, located physically in the same room as the first one. I've installed the file in all four of them and used them with no problem at all.Some time happened and I needed to upgrade the OS of my computers so I began with the first one. I installed Windows 10 Pro (since the other ones were Windows 7 Professional & Ultimate x64) and when I tried to install TEST.air in that upgraded PC, the little window of "Getting ready to install this package" appeared, and after loading, this error happened:"Yikes, it must be a compatibility issue" I thought

I noticed that with a air 28 build the invoke from the url scheme didn't transmit any argument.So I have to fall back to Air 27 which is fine.Am I the only one?Bug added : Tracker

I have an app build with Adobe AIR and we have video calling feature using flash. Now we are upgrading the system to WebRTC.Currently we are planning to load an external web page with video calling using Twilio in webview so that we can easily manage a single code for both Android and iOS platforms.When I try with StageWebView(air version 27), this can't access the camera and microphone.Is there some other method to load external page which can access camera and microphone. Or some other method to run external SDK other than with ANE files?We are trying with twilio's basic code from GitHub - twilio/video-quickstart-js: Twilio Video SDK Quick Start for JavaScript

Hi,I'm building an ANE to access to a third party library.If I would like to add the SDK to native code, I could do two things1) Change MainActivity, let it implement an interface and implement some methods.2) In the MainActivity, write code on "onCreate()", "onStart()", "onStop()", "onNewIntent(Intent)", "onResume()" methodsBasically, I would like to ask if there is any way access to main activity and and reimplement those methods. Or inject behaviour somehow.Thanks!

Hi all,So there is an issue in that Adobe Air is currently unable to install an IPA directly to an iOS 11 device connected via USB on Windows (I am installing via ADT using the command prompt). iOS 10 and lower devices work fine, but iOS 11 throws an "Unable to enumerate devices" error.This appears to be a known issue (see Adobe Air release notes: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/release-note/fp_27_air_27_release_notes.html … - this final known issue for Air)To make matters worse, I made the additional error today of updating iTunes to the latest version (the one where they have removed app support from it) and now all of our iOS 10 devices no longer install builds via the method described above.So our Windows based developers are now in a bind in that we can't immediately deploy & test directly to iOS without having to go through a process of uploading to a service such as HockeyApp, and downloading/installing from the target device. Unfortunately this is not a feasible option

I'm using File.applicationStorageDirectory to store data of my app. Problem is when there are many windows users on one machine. One user has no access to others users data. I need to have common directory for all users. In docs I see that all the OS-independent paths in Flex are based on spcific user directory. And the Application directory is read-only. So is there any directory which is common for all the users so I could store data there?I know I could use explicit directory like:var file:File = new File(); file.nativePath = "C:\\AIR Test";But I need OS-independent, somewhat hidden (not in obvious place) directory.
