Hello. I'm new and I started with Adobe Animate. I'm following YouTube tutorial and at one point I had to work with Shape Tween. My object started behaving strange so I wanted to use Shape Hints (following the video). My Shape Hints didn't want to attach to object, but I can see that Hints are working beacuse they are green at the end. My object is made out of pen tool same as in the video, but to guy in video it works. IDK what's the problem, I've been searching google for answers, communities and now I'm here (didn't even find answer here).FOUND SOLUTION: Snap to object was turned off while it had to be turned on!
Okay, so for some reason in Adobe Animate, when I use the brush tool on an area where I've already painted, it doesn't let me. Here's a video of what I mean
Hello everyone,I am facing an issue with asynchronous file loading in a Canvas project running on Android devices using the Chrome browser. I have noticed that while on desktop devices and on iOS with Safari, the loads are way fastest, on Android with Chrome, the loads are performed sequentially and slowly.Capture on sequence loading on Android deb toolsI have already tried the following:1. Modified the code to ensure file loading is asynchronous using the CreateJS library.2. Checked developer tools on various browsers and devices to monitor the loading process and confirm whether it was asynchronous or sequential.3. Tried adjusting the timeout for executing the handleComplete function, but it didn't yield good results.4. Checked the CORS policies of the site hosting the project, and it seems to be set up correctly.5. I've tested using Sprite sheets as the best way to speed up the loading time, but to not drain Android Mobile Resources I still have 15 images to load. 6. Different
I was working on my project, saved it, Windows then decided to crash on me, I tried to reopen the file but it said "An error occurred opening file". I've even checked the RECOVER file and it still doesn't open. I spent hours working on this and I'm really bummed that this happend. I tried looked for answers but they were all very vague. Here's my file: https://mega.nz/file/4MtHlCBT#uRTPCl9_N0N1fa-Q0NYpwvIMUrgXlc-k5t98f5f_nDU If anyone is able to recover it I'd be very thankful
how to solve this problem
I am trying to drop "the ball" into a specific region. When the ball is in the specific region, I want the page immediately go to frame 1 using the command "gotoAndStop(1)". However, it is not working. Can someone please help me troubleshoot this issue? Thank you. this.stop(); var root = this; this.ball.addEventListener("pressmove", moveBall); function moveBall(e) { e.currentTarget.x= e.stageX; e.currentTarget.y= e.stageY; root.ball.alpha=0.5; } this.ball.addEventListener("pressup", dropBall); function dropBall() { root.ball.alpha = 1; if (root.ball.x > 326.5 && root.ball.x < 543.5 && root.ball.y > 211.95 && root.ball.y < 376.7) { root.ball.gotoAndStop(1); root.ball.alpha = 0.2; } else {root.ball.gotoAndStop(0);} } When the ball is in the specific region, "root.ball.alpha = 0.2;" is work, but the page not go to frame 1.
so I'm trying to open Animate, and it's not working. I've opened it perfectly fine from a browser without having to install anything, since this account is paid for by my school but for some reason everything on Adobe is completely different from when I was using it in my Digital Design and Animation class and I can't open anything. I tried to open Animate, and it sent me to some page saying i can't open it on mobile (which I'm on my SCHOOL LAPTOP) and it sent me this email which supposedly had a link to download and open Animate and it just took me right back to that page that sent me the email. this is the link it sent me http://adobe.ly/28ZUiZ9 vs the one that link is sending me to https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/download/animate?promoid=DHWC1KPL&mv=other and not only that but I'm ONLY able to go to the link from gmail since if i type it into my browser it gives me the 404 page not found screen. I've tried googling what's going on with this, but it's on
Hi everyone. I'm struggling with motion tween. I created a symbol, then double clicked to go into the nest. Next, adjusted and made it a motion tween. Proble I'm having, is there's no path to click on or edit. Normally, a path shows right away when you motion tween. I cannot figure it out and I've tried scowering the internet and searching forums. Thanks in advance for the help. Tried to attach the animate file but keeps telling me "content type does not match it's file extension and has been removed." So if anyone also has an answer for that, I would appreciate it.
Ok, So I was trying to use the bucket tool to fill in a specific area (let's call it B) that is in a bigger area (and this one A), the bucket tool didn't fill B only but A too. Can anyone please help? I was using Macromedia Flash 8 (Wait, does Macromedia Flash counts as an Adobe Animate?)
I am learning animate. Using classroom in a book release date 2020. Chpt. 3. The instructions are to animate a position. I created a new layer and moved an image to the stage, positioned it. I selected the image and could not get it to insert a motion tween as I thought the instructions said. I learned that I had to select the key frame on the newly created layer ( not mentioned in the instructions) then the option to select the motion tween became available.
I can set most of the parameters of a comboBox, cb, by setting the attribute directly on the object, such as:cb.rowHeight = 30;cb.alpha = 100;for row height and alpha respectively. But for other attributes such as bordercolor and thickness, it seems to use a setStyle function. So it compiles with:cb.setStyle("borderColor", 0x75aa75);cb.setStyle("borderThickness", 10);but it doesn't seem to cause any change. Does it need some other method?
I am creating an animation in adobe flash cs5 and have the v cam ready to use. However when I put the v cam over something I wont to show a close up of and test movie, i can't see the close up instead I just see the animation with the v cam box infront of it which looks silly. I don't understand why it isn't working. I have a v cam file I have opened in another tab which shows a demonstration of it moving and when I test movie in that it zooms in, shows close ups etc. But when I copy it over to the animation I'm working on it will not work. We have several different v cam's that we have tried and everytime we test movie you can still see it. HELP!!
My animation is set to 24 FPS, but when I play it back, the FPS in the timeline changes from 24 to 12.05 FPS. I'd like to view my animation in real time... Can anyone provide insight on this?
I noticed in later versions of Adobe Animate that you can now assign an instance name to a Graphic Symbol from the properties panel even though Graphic Symbols still do not support being controlled by ActionScript code. (See Screenshots taken from different versions of Adobe Animate) So what other purpose is there in being able to give a Graphic Symbol an instance name?Only Movieclip and Button Symbols can actually make of instance names it seems, at least code-wise, so I can't see why Graphic Symbols would now be given this option.Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide!
Hello, I'm animating an HTML5 banner and am still new to animate. I have tried to problem solve this every way I could, but I cannot find the reason why my rectangle is below where it should be. The shape was made in animate and converted to a symbol to animate the mask. Is there something I'm missing?? I would appreciate anyone's input. Thank you!
I use Adobe Animate for producing our HTML5 banners. Is this the best app to use, or should I look at others? FYI - I come from a print background and have no real code experience. Thank you
This jsfl can add a blank keyframe to the last frame of the current layerBut there will be an error that automatically extends to the end frame of the timelinehow to fixif (aslayer.frameCount < tl.frameCount) { tl.insertBlankKeyframe(tl.frameCount); } else { if (aslayer.frames[aslayer.frameCount].startFrame !== aslayer.frameCount) { tl.insertBlankKeyframe(tl.frameCount); } }
To apply a Adjust Color filter I used to use before:an.getDocumentDOM().addFilter('adjustColorFilter')But now it doesn't work anymore. I found this function that in theory assigns the effect to a layer, but it doesn't work either.var myFilters = an.getDocumentDOM().getTimeline().layers[0].getFiltersAtFrame(0); The blend modes now work with this code:an.getDocumentDOM().getTimeline().layers[0].setBlendModeAtFrame(1,"Alpha"); But I don't know how to apply it to filter effects.Any help?
I have no idea what's happening with Animate. I've exported so many projects over the years. Now that I'm using the 2020 version, I can no longer complete an export. The program goes through the whole song and dance with the progress bar, then opens Media Encoder, but then nothing gets added to the queue. Sometimes, a file will appear in the folder I designated, but it is completely blank. What am I to do? Why is this happening? Why now?
I went on Adobe Animation and I looked at my "open recent" folder and none of my animations came up. I tried opening my animation by going to the animation clip in my saved documents, but Adobe said that an error occurred and couldn't open the folder. This has never happened before. Now I'm on Adobe Animation CC and the timeline and tools aren't showing up at all. I don't know whats happening right now, I don't know if it's a glitch because i reloaded it and it still was happening. Is there someone out there that can tell me what is happening and what to do about it in case this happens again in the future? Just to clarify, I am using the trial version of Adobe Flash CC.
Hello everyone, It's been a little over a week since I've been trying to solve an issue that keeps me awake at night.It's about a project I'm working on that runs very slowly only on Chrome for Android. After much research, I found that the problem occurs when handling several large images (around 3500 pixels each).I've confirm this by compressing big spritesheets images to 100kb each and still laggy if the images are biger in pixel size. The issue is that if I don't use spritesheets, the loading time increases considerably, taking almost a minute to load, compared to 5 seconds of loading time when using two giant spritesheets. However, on Android, the performance drops significantly. On the other hand, if I load the 72 separate images, the loading time increases to a minute, but the performance is excellent.Could you share some experiences and/or suggestions on other methods to approach my problem? Or options to investigate?Thank you for reading this,Great performance

Hello Friends! Hope all is well.I apologize in advance if my termanology isnt great, as I am still learning the Adobe Ecosystem.I am creating a Top down Walking Animation for a simple Chibi Like Character.When The Character takes a step forward with say his right foot&leg, I'd like to set it so that the "right foot&Leg" Layer is behind the "Left foot&leg" Layer. But then when the character takes a step forward with the left foot&Leg, I'd like to set it so that the "Left foot&Leg" Layer is behind the "Right foot&leg" Layer.Hopefully that makes sense. I really appreciate the help! Hopefully this is a feature.Thanks!
