Questions

My client is looking for a more robust presentation software that can elegantly animate layers in/out, loop some things to keep it "living", and hopefully even incorporate some envoronmental sound design.  Is Animate the solution I'm looking for? There's so much outdated documentation on the internet, I can't tell if Animate (or any adobe product) is headed the direction we need. I don't want to get invested in something that's being deprecated (Flash/swf), as much as I loved developing for Flash.  Do we have a viable alternative yet?

Can anyone shed some light on why our Animate created banners run slowly in Safari?They play at the expected speed in Safari when run locally, and also when hosted on our developer’s website.But when seen as a served in the wild, they run slowly in Safari (desktop).They run at normal speed in Chrome.Check out this page – you should see several of our Suzuki NZ banners running.https://www.driven.co.nz/news/news/limited-edition-suzuki-swift-sport-katana-rarer-than-a-ferrari-f12-tdf-but-not-as-fast/and compare the speed in Safari and Chrome.Does anyone know what causes this?

Sorry this is a cross-post but I need help pretty quick. Noone is responding in General. I'm trying to load a external movie clip (600x450_test.swf) to a target (targ02) on the main timeline. I have a clip on the main timeline which contains all my buttons. The script (below) is in the first frame of this clip. The external clip loads but replaces the entire main movie all together. I've been away from Flash for a few weeks but I thought this was what always worked. Not near old files to check. V-cam doesn’t work for Macromedia Flash 8? I used Actionscript 2 and nothing. Am I doing something wrong? My 2nd question. Is it possible to transfer my work into Adobe Animate CC?Since they have a camera now Also, I'm not sure if I included the link but that's where I got my help from. 

Hey, I'm trying to create a 3D animation for personal use and was trying to import 3D files from online into the project; recently, I read that you can import 3D models into Animate CC by using plugins like Away3D. I was wondering if anyone could give me a brief overview of how I could import a 3D model into Animate using such plugins? Hello! I am a new animator who would love some help. I am using a Huron tablet and every time I press down to draw something new this circle pops up and doesn't allow me to draw until a few seconds later. Thanks! 

Hi everybody! I am trying to create a "following the bouncing ball " with the lyrics of her children song I wrote. The instrumentation for the song plays in the background. It plays fine when I play it through. I currently have the background, text, and the song in the project and I'm now looking to add the bouncing ball.  As I'm sure you understand this requires stopping and starting the clip quite frequently. Problem is once I stop the clip if I try to start it again you can't hear the audio. I literally have to completely shut Animate down and re-open Animate and the project before it will play. It will take me the rest of my life to do this  if I have to shut down and reboot the program every time I want to add a key frame. Any help on why this is happening would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

gif Some of the contents of the export window are not visible. Options also overlap. The same is true of reinstalling. Please advise! I just purchased a brand new, unopened disc version of Flash CS3.  I successfully installed it, however, when I attempt to activate this product (Flash CS3) it  does not appear in the list of product options on the activate/deactivate page. How can I activate this software?

Hi Im trying to make the stage on my file transparent so that I can import into a PDF with a background texture. All the solutions I have found tell me to change settings which I cannoy find in any of the dialogue boxes eg window mode in Publish settings. Any suggestions? ThanksJon

Hi My keyboard shortcut under edit doesn't come up. And with wacom, after configuring with the shortcuts, it doesn't work.. Any ideas? 

I'm trying to develop code for a single object to rotate on a 2-dimensional axis. I want the object to rotate in the direction that I move the mouse. Hi, I'm having issues with my animations layers bleeding into each other. When using the animate section in photoshop I have no issues, but when bringing it over to Animate, the farther into my animation the more the previous layers clip and bleed together. The only way I was able to figure this out was to save the individual frames and import them to the stage. I do not want to have to do that for a 400+ frame animation. I put in what I am seeing for Animate and Photoshop below. 

Guys do you know how can I solve this problem in Adobe Animate?I record my voice in premiere pro, I reduce noise, I edit with audacity too, and when I import the audio in Animate, sounds really bad with noise...this program reduce the quality of audio,does exist a solve for this problem? Thank you

So I have been working daily on this project for 3 weeks. Its due in two days. I went onto my project to do some final touches and export it but now it is fully gone from my computer. It says it has suddenly become damaged even though I was animating on it only a few hours ago. I have multiple saves on this project in my my hard drive and external hard drive. I have had it crash multiple times so I had RECOVER_ versions of this project but when I clicked on them to open them up their icon just disappeared and is no where on my harddrive nor external. I am using a PC not MAc. Does anyone have any idea where to recover my project?

Hello i'm using a wacon intuos and i've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. All the other probgams are fine they work as nomal and is maped to the main monitor. it is only adobe animate that is having the problem. I have also uninstaled adobe animate and reinstaled it.

Hi,I need help. I don't know why the software can't recognise my drawing tablet. What I mean by that is when I try to draw,it looks like I use a mouse. The line is not straight.

Hi, a customer wants my animations in 4k - do you know, what the drawbacks are? Much longer render-duration, or much larger files etc? Or is there not much difference between exporting in 4k vs. full hd?

Can't seem to find this!If I select a stroke it is easy to change the brush style of that stroke.Once I have selected a style my brush will revert to a normal line when I use it again.Question: How to I keep a style active on the pencil or brush?For example: Ink styleI want the brush to always use this style but it will not. It reverts. Meaning I would have to select every line and change them one by one.Do you need to apply the style for each line! Doesn't seem to make sense.I'm missing something here.Thanks.

Hi! I am new to both animation and Animate. I teach electronics and therefore I want to learn to animate circuits. To animate circuits, I need to make a bunch of balls following along a path. Like this:After a lot of messing around, I was able to make that animation. I made the balls move just one position, then I'm looping. I had to customize the movement that the corner-balls did and therefore it looks a bit strange in the corners. But now I want to create more elaborate circuits. With several twists and turns. And I realize that it's going to be a lot of work to manually create the movement of each ball in more advanced circuits.So I came across a tutorial on how to make an object follow a path by adding a Motion Tween and pasting a custom path onto the ball's the motion path:That worked fine for one ball. But would it be possible to make a bunch of balls follow the same path so that I get the same effect as in the first animation above? If not, any recommendations on how

i downloaded new version of adobe animate .and there isn't adobe air in this version(animate 20.0.3)...is this a bug?or adobe animate not to support adobe air anymore?I'm a developer who use animate for applications compiling..I have applications on Google Play and Apple app store..I want to sure about my apps future with adobe animate...
