Hi there, I had an ease that I really liked, and I was wondering if there was anyway I could save it as a preset in Adobe Animate so it could be in all animations without having to copy presets and all that.

in animate im creating moving letters but some have a border around them and i seem to remove them any suggestions ps im very new to adobe.

I am with Mac Studio M1 and since I updated to MacOS Sonoma last week, Animate (23.0.2 build 103) does not open the browser. I have to do it manually. The question is how long it usually takes Adobe to fix an issue of this type. Thinking that the project is urgent, perhaps the alternative would be to return to the previous Mac OS.

Okay I have been working on this animation for months and now it won't open. No I do not have a recovery file or a swf- I know. Any project I open up on Animate CC 2018 will not let me edit it, open any windows, draw or do anything. The cursor is just a gray triangle with an exclamation mark in it and will not change to any tool. The solution I found online explained how to fix it with CS6 and earlier windows versions, but nothing with Animate CC or Windows 10. I've updated all my drivers, updated my computer, and even the flash player. I didn't want to go editing any files without knowing for sure what the solution is, and one of the solutions was the recreate the preferences for the application. Any info would be great on any solutions, what the problem is, and how to recreate the preferences would be great if that would even help me out. I'm not sure if you would need any more information to help out, but let me know and I'll help any way I can

Publishing an HTML5 Project with Loop Timeline turned off, and with a Graphic Symbol that:- Has a same or longer length of frames as there are in the main timeline.- Has no empty frames- Is set to "Play Once"results in the Graphic disappearing after the published animation reaches its end.  Workarounds so far are manually inserting a "stopping" keyframe at the end of the animation, such as:- On any layer, adding a keyframe with "this.stop()" or similar actionscript - On the Graphics layer in the main timeline, converting the final frame into a keyframe and switching the graphic to "Hold Frame"  These workarounds, in my opinion, should be unnecessary considering I already have Loop Timeline turned off and the Graphic symbol set to "Play Once." Additionally, adding a "stopping" frame adds  additional layers and/or keyframes, which bloats the timeline and can easily lead to errors if moving the graphic without "Edit Multiple Frames" always enabled.

Hello, Animators! Is there a way to automatically create in-betweens in Animate, if I have two or more static images as keyframes? I previously hoped to get such result in After Effects, but the community says it's nearly impossible.   If it is possible in Animate, how could I achieve some tweening? This example above looks primitive, but creating in-betweens by hand is sometimes very tedious. Any tips or advice about ways to simplify the task are much appreciated.  Thank you for your kind attention, understanding and help! 

When creating and publishing HTML5 Canvas documents and controlling the symbols with JS the pivot point is set incorrectly in some cases. I can only get the pivot to be set correctly when converting existing shapes or images to a symbol with the registration point set to the center point initially. I can then move my object around and the child position and the pivot align as they did before in an AS3 document. However, if I set it to any other position type like top-left it will still position itself and rotate from the original center position. Then when re-positioning the contents it uses that same offset from the top-left to the center point which is incorrect. So how it ends up in the final HTML and how it appears when viewing the pivot point position within Animate are different. So it seems like it is writing some pivot information on creation but is always setting it to the center regardless of what you set the initial position to be in the symbol settings. This leads to d

I'm trying to edit a piece of a timeline in Animate.  The first thing I want to do is delete the first several minutes of the timeline (all layers) how do I do in and out points (it's note I and O  like every other product) Also,  I want to change the color of an object throughout several sections.  The problem is when I change the color, it changes back to the original color over time.  I want to change it for ALL keyframes and I cannot figure out how to do that. It's possible that I'm using the wrong method to change the color (Properties>Color Effect>Tint Dave

Hello folks i have a simple interactive media and this 1120 error keeps appearing everytime theres a frame added behind it. Basically speaking the button works like charm when both stop and go to and play code applied on irst frame of timeline. I built a basic HTML5 banner in Adobe Animate CC 2015.1 Release.NOT EDGE ANIMATE.I click Command+Enter to export files and automatically preview it in Chrome and it works flawlessly.Then I drag THE EXACT SAME HTML FILE that was just exported into THE EXACT SAME CHROME BROWSER and it will not play.Why? How am I suppose to send the banners to the client to preview if nothing works outside of the Animate CC environment.This is insanely maddening.

I used a google Web-Font in my Animate app. This added the following lines to my index.htm, which worked fine:<script> var gFontsFamilies = ["Baloo Thambi"]; </script><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Baloo+Thambi:regular&subset=latin"> Now I don't want to use the google Web-Font any more (GDPR issue) and replaced all used fonts with arial.  But now the above code is still in my index.htm after publishing the Script. I could remove it manually every time I publish it - but how can I get rid of it generally? Thanks for HelpThomas

Writing this out every time for the numerous click functions I have seems a bit redundant: exportRoot.TXT_add.text = "Some Value"; exportRoot.TXT_ext.text = "Another Value"; This would be tidier: ADDR = "Some Value"; EXT = "Another Value"; There must be some way to do this, but I can't find anything on the topic.This is my attempt:var ADDR = exportRoot.TXT_add.text; var EXT = exportRoot.TXT_ext.text; clear_INFO=function(){ ADDR = " "; EXT = " "; } clear_INFO(); That should clear the content of the Dynamic text objects, but it does nothing. Hello, we are using a layer exporting script in 2022 animate that we found on this forum. It's very useful for managing the nomenclature and index order of sprites drawn in animate, and generally facilitates collaboration between Animate and game development very well.However, there is a significant color quality issue when exporting because there are no Export Options when using this script. If you select Export Movie, it will give you these options. I need this Layer naming script to do this. After some research we found that it is possible and we amended the script's parameters so that it should display an export dialog that prompts you with export options now. Either the documentation that we used is out of date, or something has become obsolete. Hello All, So I have been trying to get excited about this Asset Warp Tool but it keeps pixilating the assets I apply it to. At first I thought it was becuase my Document size was to small so I boosted the size up tremedously and that did actually make it...less blurry but still there was loss, less loss but.  I thought it would be fine once I crunch it down and render out like say a GIF at a much smaller size.  Well ...I did just that just now and the quality of the warped objects is much more pixilated then any object without and really just ..bad.  As of know Im feeling like this is not a usable tool and am thinking I should have done this project in Affter Effects and try out there warp tool.  Or even raster everything and use Unity as a free spine rig tool:/ Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you in advance:) Attaching a screenshot of a part of the GIF output and what it looks like in the working file.  Looks fine in the in t

The software is very slow and laggy on my new Mac M2 Pro. There's a half-second delay with my stroke and eraser, or when I rotate/drag the canvas, or redo/undo a stroke (the error "animate is processing strokes please wait" appears regularly),etc.Got the Same version on PC and never had that issue. How do I fix it?

I'm trying to achieve a couple of effects in Animate using HTML5 to create interactive aliens and random spaceships with the kids. (Header_001, Slogan_001, Button_001)With what code do I load the variables from (language_txt.txt) ?And in which frame do I put that code in the *.fla? Guys I have an image which is bigger than stage, but when I play this movie in player the background image is cropped on each of sides, that is on left and right there is a gray margin around 2cm wide.Any ideas how to fix this so the background image covers entire stage?Thank you.

If this has been covered somewhere else, I apologize. Feel free to redirect me. But after not using the 3D tools in Animate for a number of years, I'm teaching a class in this again. And the 3D tools are not behaving at all how I remember them (or in any way that is useful). I've also got a video showing the glithces below. There are two. They feel related. Glitch no 1 is that when I change any 3D property, it automatically readjusts after I let go of the mouse. I tell something to be at 300 z position, it moves itself to 400+. I rotate something half way along the y axis, it over-rotates to the other side. Not only does this work very differently than in older software versions, but it makes working impossible. How can anyone plan an animation, then the program readjusts everything on you? The second glitch has to do with nested 3D animation. If there is any 3D manipulation inside a movie clip at all, the animation outside that MC gets weird. It's as if the anchor point

Animate runs pretty well and fast on M1 Macs under Rosetta 2, but will Animate be updated as a M1 native app for its 2023 release? I don't see any Animate Beta app on CC, so very curious to find out if you Adobe peeps can give us the inside scoop on the near future. Thanks!

I was working on a project in Adobe Animate and I have no idea what I might have clicked or what happened. I can't see any of my objects or symbols in the stage or offstage and none of the layers are hidden. When I download it as a .swf file I'm able to see the full animation but I can't see anything in my workspace. I know it's a long-shot to see how I can fix this with so little information, but I have provided a screenshot of my full workspace so hopefully someone can find out why this may have happened and how I can fix it.
