Hello everyone. I have downloaded the new Audition beta and would like to let the artificial intelligence improve my audio recording. But how do I do that, please? ThxStephan
Hi there! I use Audition mostly for podcasting work. When I’m editing out silence within a multitrack file, it would be very handy to have fades automatically added to clips that are splitted. For example, when I split a clip, the first clip gets a fade-out of 10ms and the next one gets a fade-in of 10ms. Bonus would be if the tracks overlapped the same amount of time, so you effectively don’t lose anything. Furthermore I would love a feature to add certain fade-ins or -outs to all selected clips. For example when I’d forget to activate the above mentioned functionality and no clip has either a fade-in or fade-out. That would prevent clicking at the cutting points. Kind regards!
In the earlier stage of adobe podcast, I could upload an audio and have it enhanced. Now that feature seems to be replaced with transcription (into english). There is a filter that allows you to turn on "speech enhance" while transcribing. Is that the same as the old enhance function? I don't need transcription because my audio is not in English and the resulting English transcription is just jibberish. It's a waste of time and resources (their servers CPU time, storage for the text). Is there a way to just enhance speech?
Dear @Adobeteam,I hope this message finds you well. I'm interested in using the podcast.adobe.com/enhance feature to enhance the audio quality of my podcast recordings. However, I'm concerned about the privacy of my voice data. Can you please clarify whether my voice data will be shared with anyone if I use this feature? As a content creator, I take my audience's privacy seriously, and I want to ensure that any personal information, including my voice data, is kept secure. I would appreciate any information you can provide on this matter so that I can make an informed decision about using this feature. Thanks and I am expecting a reply form your end
"The audio file is in a format we can't understand." I am getting this message from the past 2 hours. I am trying just to enchance a simple audio of 10 sec. At first i tried using a mp3 file and then coverted it into wav. But nothing is working at all. Also tried different browsers and even tried it on my android device but nothing is working at all. Any suggestions how to fix this??
Hi there,Adope Podcast Beta which usually works fine for me is introducing a static like sound into the audio file that wasn't there before; I tried running the file through the ai again but it didn't fix anything. Is there are a reason or fix for this ,thanks

Hi, is the new feature (see below) listed in the Audition What's new in Beta actually for Premeire Pro? "Assemble rough cuts from transcripts IN DEVELOPMENTAutomatically generate transcripts of all source footage and assemble a rough cut using the Text panel."
hello Incessant error report when I activate a plug-in or I launch a track or even every action I do, I can not even launch the software since after 3 minutes maximum it crashes. I would very much like to know how to solve this problem. thanks
Here is what is happening: At times the recording, both on a multichannel and waveform, will have repeated words in it. It sounds like the person is stuttering or saying things two times. I am recording with a Shure SM-70 (4 mics), a Rodecaster Pro, and a Mac Mini M1 2020, and using the Rodecaster Pro template in Adobe Audition. This issue comes and goes seemingly on its own. I have rebooted both the computer and Rodecaster and this has AND has not worked in the past. I am happy to provide any information as needed. Thanks

Build 22.2.0.7 _Nov 29 Getting the attached Debug Assert Failed warning each time Audition starts. Otherwise it's working OK.
I have been using Audition and/or Audition Beta almost daily for several years, but I've never seen what happened this morning when I went to open Beta: a window appeared (see screenshot) that I don't really understand, and so I don't really know which option to choose on it. Can anybody help? Thanks,Brian
Our team is working hard on a version of Audition that will run natively on Apple’s new Apple Silicon based M1 processor. The first public Beta is available today and we invite you to test it out! Your feedback is welcome. We will be updating the Beta frequently as new builds become available. Please see the notes below. The Beta processes Since Audition is built on a large codebase with support for a wide range of media and workflows, we will implement native support for Apple M1 in phases and some parts have not been ported yet. This phased approach allows us to validate performance and functionality for specific parts of the application before we add new components. And it also allows you to start seeing the benefits now. The first public Beta includes the core editing functions and workflows like waveform and spectral editing, multitrack recording, editing, and mixing. The average editor is likely to see very little difference from
As a sound engineer I use many different DAWs and audio editing and mixing software. I have used Audition since it was known as Cool Edit and it seems one of the biggest features that is missing that seems to appear on almost all other audio software in some manner is the manipulation of tempo. Adobe Audition has been around long enough that when an audio track is inserted either into the multitrack editor or the audio editor the tempo should AUTOMATICALLY be calculated by the program. This will allow for truly accurate snapping to time measures as the tempo will determine the snapping. Audition should also be able to change tempo within a track, and also use an automation method to increase or decrease tempo over time. I'm not a software engineer but I find that the most useful audio software usually has a very clear grasp of how it handles tempo. Tempo should also be able to be altered without affecting the pitch of the audio. I think this is one of the most obvious features missing
I set a series of CD tracks on a file yesterday and saved the file after export. I reopened the file today to find that the gaps set between tracks had disappeared. The end mark of each clip had snapped to the start mark of the next. Audition 22.1.0.12 Beta (Oct 2 2021 14.04.43)
Beta build 22.1.0.8 _ Sept 28 Two issues: Placing range markers to create CD tracks (shift + M) used to create CD markers. It now produces cue markers, which won't insert into a CD layout. After correcting marker type and selecting all CD markers, right clicking and choosing "insert into [existing CD layout name]" nothing is inserted into the existing CD layout. I have to choose "insert into NEW CD layout for it to accept the markers.
Steps to reproduce: 1. ...Export session mixdown to synced Dropbox folder. Result: ... Folder no longer available errorExpected: ... Session to be mixed and exported It's as if Audition gets preempted when the Dropbox folder begins to sync the newly exported mixdown. Although, once the Dropbox sync completes, after I get the error message, the export will work after I tell it to overwrite the existing file. When you go look at this existing file, its basically an empty file. It's as if Dropbox let Audition save the file name, but then kicks in to sync and Audition shows an error about the folder being no longer available.System info Application: Audition (Beta) v14.4.0.30 OS: Windows v10.0.19042, RAM: 15.89 GB, CPUs (logical): 4
I just installed the latest Audition Beta and have now lost all my presets, any clue where they are? I'm on a MAC OS
The grid lines in Audition's spectral display become messy when the window is scaled up to larger resolutions. Instead of grid lines anchored to frequencies (500hz, 1khz, 2khz, etc.) they seem to show up randomly. Sometimes the random grid lines become so thick that it makes analyzing the spectral display difficult. Note: I posted about this 8 months ago and received zero acknowledgment.
Steps to reproduce: Open an audio file, record an audio file, open or start a multitrack session, then let the computer sleep Result: Playback and Record stop functioning until you reboot.Expected: Audition should not break when the system goes to sleep. System info Application: Audition (Beta) v14.4.0.37 OS: macOS v11.4.0, RAM: 8.00 GB, CPUs (logical): 8
I can successfully get the audio from Premiere Pro to Audition using Edit/Edit in Audition/Sequence, but the video never comes over. Trying to export a DV copy also fails. The only solution is to render a copy of the sequence using Premiere Pro and import it after the Multitrack is created. This may have something to do with the M1 Mac I'm using for testing. Here's a screenshot of the problem:
