Adobe Bridge Blue Thumbnails macOS for H265/HEVC Footage

Has anyone found a solution to the blue thumbnail glitch on Adobe Bridge on macOS? Thumbnails on ProRes HQ footage look normal, but any H265/HEVC footage has a blue tint. I know Windows has a solution by installing HEVC extensions, but I can't find any for macOS. I am on the latest macOS Sequoia and Adobe Bridge versions.

Just in case anyone is wondering (I’m talking to you, Adobe) this issue still persists. I’m attaching a few more detailed screenshots so maybe your team can “reproduce the issue on our end” with a little more luck. The first screenshot shows the blue thumbnail clips in library view, second one shows that Bridge captured ZERO Metadata or EXIF data from the video file, and third screenshot shows the file info, codec, camera shot with, etc. Aside from screen capturing my Terminal activity I can’t imagine what else you’d need to fix this simple but annoying glitch.

We all know Bridge isn’t keeping the lights on for Adobe but it’s an essential piece of the whole workflow for many subscribers. Get it fixed, please.

As of today November 2025, with the latest Adobe Bridge 2026, I still have the same issue:

Just installed Bridge 2026, Adobe's "new version." STILL the blue thumbnails!

Same here - specific to MLog footage from an OSMO Pocket 3 but critically on different devices - Macbook Pro and Mac Studio - looks like this has been an issue for a while, come on Adobe, have a word...

Also having this issue. Mac Mini M2 Pro, Sequoia 15.6.1, latest version of Bridge. Why is this thread being ignored? Obviously this issue is impacting many users.

Same issue here and it's now August. I'm starting to tear my hair out with this problem and Adobe's "I couldnt recreate the issue so it can't be real" attitude just adds to the frustration. It's real, it's unfixable, it's BLUE and it's incredibly annoying! I'm on an M3 Ultra running Sequoia 15.4.1 but it's been happening since April. Pretty please Adobe, undo the blue!!!

I'm still having this issue despite being on the latest versions of Adobe Bridge and macOS. They can definitely reproduce this issue. There isn't anyone NOT having this issue on mac right now with H265 footage.

Same problem here, MacOS Sequoia 15.5, Bridge 15.1.0.635. Here are thumbnails in Bridge of a JPEG and MOV file shot seconds apart. - LJ

I have the same issue. Is Adobe ignoring it or will it be fixed?

We're seeing this too, in our case with S-log3 footage from FX3.

I have the same problem. Bridge 15.0.3.525, Sequoia 15.4.1 on a Mac Studio M1 Ultra. Videos play fine, but thumbnails are blue as in attached screenshot. Videos were shot on iPhone 12.
