Bridge won't open Documents or Desktop Folder

Adobe Bridge 14.1.2.300

MBP running OS 12.2

I've never had a problem until today.  I'm trying to open my Documents folder  and it won't open.  This folder and my desktop folder both have this small arrow, looks like what you'd have for an alias, I can't figure it out.  I've tried re-setting preferences, emptying cache, uninstalling and re-installing.  Nothing works. Please help

You have multiple problems going on.

First, the down arrow icon means that the folder is sync'd with a cloud service, probably Dropbox, and the files need to be downloaded as they may not even be on the computer.

BRIDGE DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY WITH CLOUD SERVICES. This includes Dropbox, iCloud, OneDrive, Google Drive, etc. You'll need to turn off syncing for Bridge to work properly.

Secondly, macOS 12 is out of date and no longer supported by wither Apple or Adobe. Depending on which Mac you have, you should update to macOS 14 Sonoma or the new macOS 15 Sequoia, both of which are supported. Adobe will be releasing new application versions at their MAX conference this month and you likely won't be able to use those new versions without the update.

Fixing these two issues should do the trick.
