Questions

One of my photos after editing is of 1.1GB - and there is no thumbnail. It would be nice to know (visually) all the pictures in a photo series. The latest version of the app. Suggestions?

Möchte Bridge gerne verwenden, um in allen selektierten Bilddateien den jeweiligen Dateinamen in den Titel einzusetzen. Sowohl Dokument Titel als auch Autor Titel. Falls das nicht geht, möchte ich dies als Verbesserungsvorschlag für Bridge an Adobe melden.

Adobe Bridge 2024 - Version MAC 14.1.2 Habe in Verzeichnissen viele Bilder, z.B. 1700 Stück. Von diesen möchte ich einen PDF Kontaktbogen erstellen.4x4 Bilder je Seite, als 16 Stück. Es öffnet sich beim Start der Vorgangs ein Fenster.In diesem lese ich, dass es noch 1 Sekunde dauert und 25% fertig sind.Tatsächlich dauert es auf einem sehr leistungsfähigen MAC mindestens 15 bis 30  Minuten.Sind schon 2 Fehler. Offenbar werden 289 Seiten erstellt.Bei 1700 Dateien und 4x4=16 Bildern je Seite, sollten es wohl eher 106,25 Seiten werden?Ist wieder ein Fehler. Wo ist da der Fehler?

HiI can't open any HEIC files form Bridge in Camera Raw.Yes I run the latest versions of Bridge, Photoshop and Camera Raw as available of today.Yes I run Windows 10 Pro with the HEIC codec installed:Anyone knows what could be the problem?I'd like to convert 100+ pictures from HEIC to JPEG. I've already done it with a Photoshop batch but realized that all Metadata was gone afterwards.Converting directly from Bridge results in a 8x smaller image resolution. Great.Now I wanted to to the batch convert in CameraRaw as I did 100 times with raw files, but it does not even allow me to open HEIC?!

Hi.Previews of HIEC files are blurry in Bridge.Windows 10 machine, I have the Heif & Hevc extensions from the MS store installed.The files open perfectly in photoshop and the windows photo viewer.I have purged the cache several times.Other types of files are clear in preview.I've tried for hours to find a solution. I have tried on two separate windows 10 computers and get the same problem.Any suggestions?

I will keep posting untill Adobe answersEvery version after 12 has been unusable because of the slow performance of scrolling, culling. So pretty much it's broken for the main thing it's supposed to work as.I've been in several video meetings with them, showing the broken performance. I've had many email conversations, I've helped them with screenshots, video captures and everything in between. The almost never replies, they only want answers, they never answer my questions. And I pay them for this? Adobe dev team, can you talk with me/us and give some feedback? Last time I helped you from messages you helped you with several videos showing the bad scrollin performance, but as soon as I asked you something you just went quiet?? Would it not be fair that since I pay for you to develop adobe apps and yet I still help you with bugs, that you at least could answer some questions??? I made a mistake when I batched moved a selection of files to a 'new folder' - I thought that it would automatically move those files to the 'new folder' etc. I gained a 'new folder' but I have lost every one of the files I was trying to move. I found the edit/undo button but that only allowed me to undo the name of the new folder - how do I find the list of recent actions to undo?

In Bridge [15.0.0.397] I have batch rotated a number of images [HEIC] but can't figure out how to save the images in the rotated orientation. Insights?

what does "Move to Bin" mean in Bridge 2023?  Is it the same as "Move to Trash" meant in Bridge 2022 & previous?

I have files tagged with sRGB profile exported from Apple Photos app.. Preview app and Mac Finder show the file is tagged however. Bridge says file is untagged and PS also says file is untagged when opening. Have had this problem for years with all versions of Bridge and PS. Just exported file from Hasselblad Phocus app with sRGB profile. Preview app and Bridge say file is tagged. Is this a problem with Apple or Adobe?

I've found scripts for adding file name to Title and file name to Decription fields but I need one to add file name to Headline field. I've tried modifying those other scripts to work for the Headline but I can't get it to work. Seems like the Headline field is blocked from having data added to it.

I'm facing a challenge with managing date metadata in my photos, and I would really appreciate your help.Context: I started by looking into whether Google Photos could automatically change the capture date in the metadata so I could download the photos and maintain the order in other galleries, like Samsung's. Unfortunately, I found that it can't do this automatically; it only allows me to manually adjust the "creation date" on their platform, not the IPTC or XMP metadata fields where the "capture date" is stored in the photo file.Now, I’m looking for a way to automate this process. Ideally, I want software that can read the date from the file name and place it in the "capture date" metadata field of each image. Does anyone have experience or advice on how to achieve this? Maybe there’s a tool or script that makes it easy. Hi, I've made a  metadata template for copywrite info in Bridge which is super useful and seems to have all the fields I need except for  "copywrite info url" field which is available in the file info just can't find it in the template. Does anyone know if it's there and if so where it is please? Can't see it so far but hoping it's hidden somehwere rather than not there at all! Thanks!

Hallo,ich habe ein Problem mit der Dateiverwaltung in Adobe Bridge 2023. Und zwar ist es mir nicht möglich CR2-Dateien zu löschen. Das Paperkorb-Symbol oben rechts ist ausgegraut. Ich dachte zunächst an ein Thema hinsichtlich der Rechte, Ordner oder Dateien zu löschen. Aber andere Dateitypen wie jpg, doc, pdf etc. kann ich wie gewohnt in Bridge löschen. Ich vermute, es ist wahrscheinlich lediglich eine Einstellungssache im Programm. Nur ich kann so eine Einstellungsmöglichkeit nicht finden. Hat jemand eine Idee dazu?  Vorab vielen Dank! VG Christian

This has been happening since a few versions ago. Since then I have abandoned bridge and work with LR or Photo Mechanic. Today with the new updates I gave it another try and the same problem. With external hard drives larger than 12 TB. Mines are 16TB on a Terramaster it is impossible to see the contents nor on the folders explorer on the left side where the down arrow shows nothing nor in the Content panel. I guess some kind of bug makes it impossible to open such large drives. I have no problem with 8TB drives, but the big ones I have do not open. Photoshop 2025 latest versionWindows 10 

Hello, Can you help me please. I dragged a folder from files to Adobe Bridge. This folder had other folders inside. When I opened a folder inside, I don't see how to return to my previous folder. And since I dragged the folder to Bridge, it's no longer there in files. It turns out that my folder is lost in Bridge.
