Photo Downloader cant find source.

Question

There has never been a problem to put memory card in my Mac card slot and start

Photo Downloader from Bridge before.

Since update to Bridge ver 12 I cant use PD anymore, it hangs while "...finding sorce"

I have to move all files to desired place and then convert to DNG and rename them

manually.

I have tried to reset everything by pressing shift-cmd-opt... while starting Bridge but

it don't works.

What have I done wrong?

At the moment it seems the recommendation is not to use Photo Downloader at all as it is not behaving itself properly.

Bugs frequently reported include renaming files in reverse order, downloading multiple copies of files, and several other issues.

The only saving grace is that it now remembers user preferences, which was previously a bone of contention, but unfortunately at the expense of other newly created problems.
