Star rating not working on all images in Bridge

Hi - I just updated Bridge and now it won't let me apply star ratings to all the images I want to (just some of them).  None of the images are locked.  I've purged the caches.  Any ideas?

    Hi, @chasinglesoleil, is there a difference between file types (some being png, other jpg, etc.). Is there a difference in location, or are they all in the same folder?

     

    What is your OS (and what release)? Which update have you done? There have been several in the past month.
