Questions

Hello all;I've seen lots of posts regarding Camera RAW freezing when being opened either thro' Bridge or Photoshop 23.I have the same issue.I've followed all the suggested solutions, including updating all the apps and changing the preference, clearing the cache and disabling the Graphics Processor. The App still doesn't work as it should.  In fact it doesn't work at all...Any further ideas, please? All the best, Mark.

I was so excited to update ACR, but denoise AI is unusable for me. I'm running a Windows 11 with 64 GB RAM, 2 solid state drives with 1 TB each, one of them empty, and my GPU is NVIDIA GTX 1060 with 8GB memory. ACR is set to use GPU. PS and Bridge run fast, but the new feature, Denoise AI takes 10 minutes to render. I thought it was a mistake when the display said 10 minutes, but it's real. Ten minutes is unusable, not to mention that the result, after waiting 10 minutes was poorer than Topaz denoise, which renders in less than 20 seconds. What's going on? Have I gotten a defective update? I've been reading that other users are running into the same problem, but one user reported a much inferior GPU  than mine. Do I have to buy a server to run ACR denoise? If so, it's really unusable.

While editing and i copy the settings from the picture before and paste to the next one, if i zoom in the colors, light and opacity change to darker, same if i save the picture it doesnt turn out as i see on my screen (it turns out as it looks when i zoom in) please hel, its driving me crazy!  Example:

To use enhanced super resolution on jpeg, must open in camera raw.  I know easy right click from bridge, and I Love Bridge, but its often a nuisance to launch bridge, for just  one image. HOw open in Camera raw 1 image  on a Mac, from desktop, cant figure it out thanks.

I think I may have found a bug in the AI Super Resolution and DeNoise Functionality in Adobe Camera Raw 15.3 when opening a file for PSCC 4.4.1.  When I open a file in ACR and then click the Enhance button, I can only choose Super Resolution OR DeNoise, not both.  If I choose Super Resolution alone, and then want to rerun Enhance for DeNoise, it is not an option.  Similarly, if I choose DeNoise first, and then want to go back and run Super Resolution, I get a message telling me that the selected photo has already been fully enhance.  I would think that it should be possible to both DeNoise an image and res it up using Super Resolution.  Is there a way to use the Enhance features for both?

I have recently bought a new computer (Win 11) and am busy installing all my programs. I only run Lightroom 6 but this won't read my Z50 raw .NEF files so I have to use DNG converter. I installed the last version of DNG I was using (14.3?) but when I try to open the location of my photos it says 'No items match your search'. I checked for an update and installed version 15.3, but with the same results. Any ideas what is wrong?

I was told by Adobe Rep Camera Raw would be available with Lightroom purchase.  Didn't see it; therefore, I downloaded/installed Camera Raw 15.?.  Not able to get to it.  Have tried multiple times...newby...but have exhausted all efforts.  I have downloaded Photoshop Light....not there either.  Don't want to keep downloading in vain.  Please help.  Thanks

Once I work on a picture in Bridge, the adjustment sliders do not appear in the upper right hand corner like they used to and I don't know which pictures have been adjusted. How do I get the slider to show again.

Is anyone else experiencing issues with Masking in ACR, specifically regarding People? Even in images where people are CLEARLY present (viewed head-on with no other objects around them), it is either saying that it is unable to find people or it is showing the little circle that would usually have their face in it but now the circle has a random part of the image in it and the mask selects almost the entire image, not the person. I've been off work the last few days and I can't remember if I masked any people after I updated to v15.3 or not before this started. Happening for anyone else? Any ideas?(iMac running Ventura 13.3.1, ACR v 15.3, Photoshop CC v24.4.1)(Screenshots attached showing the mask preview in neon green, the full image for reference, and the icon where it would usually show his face)

Hi, I've just upgraded to camera raw 2023 from 2019. In the 2019 version, when I created the same mask on multiple images I could scroll though each image and see the mask overlay. I need to do this as there may be subtle differences between images and I need to adjust each mask slightly after I've created one that mostly works for all images. In the new version, when I scroll to the next image, the mask panel compacts and doesn't show a mask overlay on the next frame. I can make it show by manually clicking on it, but that is tedious when there are many images. Is there some way to keep the mask panel open and see mask overlay as I scroll through images ? Also, is it possible to see the mask overlay for 2 masks in the same image at the same time? Thanks for you help.

Is there a way to view history in Camera Raw? It seems the only work-around would be to save Snapshots. Thanks for the help.David

Everything was fine with the old version, but after Cloud automatically upgraded my Camera Raw to version 15.0, when I select Camera Raw in Photoshop, I can't see the related pop-up window anymore. At this point, clicking the left mouse button produces a "ding" sound, indicating that it cannot be selected. Then, except for pressing the Enter key or ESC key to exit this state, no other keys work. It feels like the actual window has popped up and the "Cancel" option is highlighted, but I just can't see it. Now, Camera Raw has been upgraded to 15.3, but my problem still exists. Reinstalling Photoshop doesn't solve the issue; only downgrading and installing Camera Raw 14.5 can make the related window reappear.Could an expert please help me understand what's causing this situation?

I photograph models in a studio so once I am happy with all the exporsure and others settings I will open that XMP file in ACR and then tweak each image. Last night I had a model with a small blemish on her face. No problem as with ACR I can use the healing brush and it is going without have to visit PS.The problem is the next image I open and apply the settings of the previous image will have the edit from the healing brush. I turned off saving most of the profile info but it still happens. Any idea of how to prevent this?

I am using the latest version of ACR. Even in the previous version, the problem began. When opening a large number of photos, I discover that some of them cannot be opened. When opened through the Windows viewer, graphic artifacts appear in the photo. To exclude the camera, I checked the old photos, they also have such a defect on them (there were no problems with them before when working with them). When checking Sony ARW files, there are no problems anywhere, only CR3. I also tried to create a copy of the sources to check before / after. The problem appears after opening photos in ACR.Windows 11Rtx 3070tiPhotoshop 2023ACR 15.3

If i remember correctly in previous versions of ACR plugin one could select what options he wants to apply when opening DNG file, however now it just auto apply all settings. Is there way to return dialog to choose what settings/masks i want to apply when loading DNG file trough the menu?

You’ve probably noticed this peculiar “P:” at the beginning of some threads here in the Adobe Community Forum. I'll add RAW files that have a problem when using the new noise reduction(AI) tool. I will also attach jpg files with explain + show problems.   please fix them   P.S. dng files cant be upload here, please DL it from my cloud.

Saved my edits to multiple files using Done button after adjusting in Adobe Camera Raw. Now opening this one image and settings from XMP file would not load.   Please see what could have gone wrong and how i make XMP work?   Uploaded files here https://www.upload.ee/files/15190856/_DSC0075.zip.html

Hi All, so let's say I have a number of files open in Camera Raw and just for instance I can see that my next three images are going to need just a part of each one brightened up. So I hit the K key (brings up Paint Brush) and I slide the exposure to .5 and let's say the contrast to 10 and the clarity to 10. I paint where I need it....... lovely. In every camera raw version before this newest one, 15 I  think, those brush settinsg would have stuck there for my next image and I paint an area with the exact same settings. In Camera Raw 15, every single image I go to the brush settings have been zero'd out. Why? Let me make that decision when I need to. I need the brush settings to stick/hold from one image to the next. Any ideas?    Windows 11.

Some of my Fuji X-T5 images edited in Lightroom Classic 15.3 (12.3 Release) on a Mac Studio M1 Max are exhibiting a noticable megenta color shift when opening in Camera Raw. The correct color will initially load (see before example), and then about a second later, shift toward magenta. The actual opened file has the magenta shift (see after example). Note that the exact same thing is happening in Lightroom if I switch between the Develop and Libarary modules. The image looks correct in Develop, but shifted to magenta in the Library.  Initially I was using DNGs converted using Adobe DNG Converter, but confirmed that the same thing is happeing if I use the original RAW file. It is NOT happening for all files, and for none of my Canon files (6D or R6). There doesn't appear to be any corruption in the files.  All files have had the edit metadata saved to the DNGs directly in Lightroom, or as .xmp sidecar files in the case of original raws. Exported images (DNG or a

After updating Bridge, ACR and PS, I am now having a glitch in PS. However, I believe this might be an ACR issue because Photoshop will open, but my images now flash white instead of just loading. Can anyone help me figure out why my images will now not load into PS? I need to be able to edit. And yes, I have tried "restarting" the program.  Attached is a screen record of what PS looks like when I try to open any image. These are RAW files that were pre-edited in Bridge/ACR, and I always open my images via this route to finish them in PS. It looks like the app updates have made this worse.

Not so. The R5 is still not fully or smoothly supported.
