Hi Team, When we open the Captivate Asset Library, the icons in the library resize and enlarge so that we can't see the final row. When we hover over an icon, a different icon to the side is highlighted. The scroll bar goes away on the right. We aren't able to click on anything. Is there a technique that we need to use to select items from the asset library? Thank you!

I'm trying to make mobile view points larger by width, but I'm running to the issue of the program not allowing me to make the mobile landscape not any wider than 718px, and i'm trying to get it to 732px Is there some kind of weird setting to turn off this default max-size?

Hello, How can I stop the cursor from automatically appearing in the text entry field of a slide? I have other buttons on the slide which use shortcuts, however these stop working on a slide where there are text entry fields. I beleive this is due to the cursor appearing in the first text entry field automatically at the start of the slide. When I click outside of the field the shortcuts for the buttons then work properly. Many thanks, NJC

Hello Community,is it possible to assign two actions to one hotspot in a Captivate VR project? I'd love to create a hotspot which both displays text and plays a sound upon clicking it.If I create a hotspot which displays a text, there's an option to add sound in the features bar, too, but this sound will only be triggered via timing (not by clicking).Thank you for your expertise and time.Best regards,Robert

I'm new to Captivate. When I publish a project it's a bit unstable. On some slides it doesn't show the background--but the next time I run the file it does show the background. If I pause the playback for more than a minute, the whole thing becomes totally wonky--user interactions stop working. My audio won't play in Chrome but it does play in Edge. And when I set a slide to Pause on exit--why doesn't it do that? Any ideas? Thanks--Dale

Hi,I recently upgraded to captivate 9 from captivate 8. Since doing this the Preview from this slide, preview next 5 slides and preview project options do not work in existing or completely new interactive projects. The project appears to generate but then I get an error message "can not open document"I can use the preview in scorm cloud option (which is great - but slow to load up)is this a known issue?

Hi, After adding the review comments for a training course in the Adobe Captivate Content Reviewer tool, I see that there is no option to export the review comments that are logged into the tool. Hi there,So, I have spent 5 hours today researching and have not come up with the answer I know is somewhere out there. ) I am using Captivate 2019. My LMS is Saba. Here is the the scenario.1. Learner takes course.2. Learner has three attempts to pass the quiz. A pass will lead to Continue and Summary, and Exit course.3. After three failed attempts, on the results slide, they will receive messaging stating they must reveiw the course again. Learner clicks on Continue. 4. Continue takes them back to the beginning of the course to repeat the entire thing. (There is no review button, as I do not want them to simply look at the answers and test again)5. They get to the quiz, after reviewing the course again, however it has not re-set it still shows the answers to the last failed attempt. 6. Here is how I have set up Quiz Preferences.6. How can I create a button or action that will give the Learner 3 more attempts?Thank you so much for any help with this.d.

Hi, I am looking for some advice. I export a very simple 360 VR course I tried various techniques, but I can't get it to play in my VR Headset. Fully immersive, not with the simulated desktops Win 10 - Pro - 1909 - 64 bit Captivate 2019 - 11.5.1.499 Oculus Rift and Touch - 14.1   Thanks for your help

Just starting out in Captivate and I'm trying to recreate a quiz from a ESL text book for my students.  I have a picture with 10 objects in it and the kids have to put the correct word next to each numbered object. 1) umbrella, 2) shoe etc.  I was using fill in the blank, but it could be multiple choice or possibly other question types.  Am I really limited to one question per slide?  Seems bizarre. I can't figure out how to just add question fields to a blank screen either. I had a look at widgets but didn't see anything. 

I can select the skin from the list but they all appear the same way, no change no mater which one I select.

Program: Captivate 2019 - Version 11.5.1 I have 12 validated TEBs on one slide with a single Submit button that checks for the correct entry. I have assigned variables with the single correct number to each of the TEBs. All 12 function as intended. The issue I have is that the correct answer for two of them is the number 0. If the users do not fill in those two TEBs and just click submit, the program accepts the blank entry as well. How do I force the program to only accept the 0 answer and not a blank response? Thank you.

Hi Team, we're excited about Adobe Captivate functionality and we've developed a bunch of Interactions and Slidelets for a training module. Unforturnately, none of it works in Chrome/HTML5. We see that IE and Edge will be dropping their support for Flash at the end of 2020. Are there a list of best practices on how to create interactive modules in Captivate that avoid .swf/flash?

Hi there,the problem started a couple of weeks ago (afaik there was no update for captivate involved) that whenever I open a project, the text passages don't appear. I didn't change anything in the settings and so far I can't figure out the problem. I have to click on every text, so that i can see them again (i can click through them in the timeline and they all appear).Even when I publish the project, although the text passages are in the timeline, the text is not published along with the rest of the project but just pictures and all the other stuff.Thanks for the help!Mary

I would like to create an interactive Elearning course in Captivate. During the course, the student will have to click buttons in my software product. What is the best project type in Captivate to do this. I will also include a quiz at the end. Thank you in advance for your help.

When I try to login ,it shows "connect to internet".Actually I was connected.I can't log in and am working under trial version eventhough I bought .this SW.

I am creating Captivate videos using Captivate 2019 release 11.0.1.266The Edit Mouse Points option adds a single mouse icon to the end of the video timeline, there are no multiple mouse points showing. When I click on the singl mouse icon at the end of the timeline it seems to be showing all mouse movements in the video in one go, it looks like it is giving me only one mouse trail from beginning to end. How do I get it to show multiple mouse clicks?   

I placed a Click To reveal tab interaction in my current course however for some reason it does not show when i preview the course from that slide.  I checked to see if the items played the entire time during the timeline and they do I just cant figure this out.  

Hello - I have a 'jump to slide' action that isn't working. It's grouped with my navigation buttons. The button works correctly when I'm previewing a few screens, but when I view the whole course, it stops jumping to slide 20 and just moves to the next slide.What the heck am I doing wrong?

Hi, is there an easy way to share a Captivate 9 project with a colleague who does not have Captivate?  Since she is unable to open the project in Captivate, I would like to share it in HTML format.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you... 

I know how to export an audio file from one slide, but is there a way to export all of the audio files from a project featuring hundreds of slides? We are trying to recover all of the audio, and it would be nice if we could export it all or find a folder it is saved in. Thanks, Arthur

Hello,I am a complete newbie to Captivate. Is there a reason that an advanced action including "Go to Next State" for an image would not work in HTML5? the action also includes the command to "Go to Next Slide," and that part is working. I attempted a game show style activity where each correct answer would increase the score on the scoreboard. I made the images of the scoreboard at each point interval, then loaded them in as states of the original scoreboard. For each correct answer (button), the advanced action is set to make those scoreboard images "Go to Next State" as well as advance to the next question. It worked perfectly in preview, however, when previewing in HTML5 and publishing, it is not functioning. The original scoreboard remains and correct answers will not advance the image to the next state. I am in Captivate19. I'm hoping there is a glaring mistake that my lack of experience can't see and that this is a simple fix. Thanks in advance

HiI have created some buttons for an inteactive menu in my simulation file and was looking for a way to make them interactive once published into a video format for my client, but it doesn't seem possible, only publishing to HTML5 seems to be a possibility, am I correct?

I am trying to create a simulation of a user interface. The event in the simulation is to Go To Next Slide when the user mouseovers a field.  I tried using the Rollover Slidelet. It works in preview mode but this doesn't work for HTML5 output. Is there another way to advance to next slide on mouseover that works in HTML5?
