Hi again everybody Please help me understand issue.I apply on some png (it is map) 3 different effectsFirst-"EanseInLeft"Second-"CustomLines"Third-"FadedZoomOut"when preview "from this slide" everithyng is work nicebut when as HTML (F11) on last effect "FadedZoomOut" this png  is disappear but after appear again some seconds.Why? after publish HTML also the same issue My project blank (not responsive)Captivate version 2019 Thanks !!!

I've been trying to get the buttons and click boxes to work and went through lots of articles and videos but none has helped so far. I've been trying to make them myself and using pre-made slides but nothing is working. Right now, I'm stuck on a video where you need to add these elements as variables. Then advanced actions is supposed to show up in the Actions section. But, in my case, the Advanced actions is not showing up. Any ideas?This is the area that I don't see on my captivate.. "On Success" or the "script". I've tried copying templates and using the templates but none of them work. This really can't be that difficult.I need to make 4 questions:T/FMultiple choiceMatchingI can't even get elearning brothers templates to work or for them to contact me. So any help would be appreciated.Thanks!

Hi Everyone!I'm having this issue publishing with captivate 2009, the course final slide display correctly the two attempts, and inside the course everything seems to work right, i've tested it in scorm cloud and cornerstone already but even here the total attempts reflect only 1, when it should be 2.Here's a set of screen shots displaying my course settings:

Hi all,Can some one help me on the below query?I have created catch the alpha num interaction but am not able to get the instruction slide at the beginning of the activity. In fact am not getting this instruction slide at all.But i have updated the instructions in the customize option.

I am using Captivate 2017 Blank ProjectI have created a Glossary widget according to Dr. Pooja in 'Adding a Glossary Interaction in Adobe Captivate 6 courses' then followed her instruction in ' Making the Glossary interaction available throughout the course in Adobe Captivate 6'.My Glossary is sitting on my 1st blank slide, should it be in my master slides instead?My Glossary won't preview and I cannot work out what I am doing wrong!

What is the "rule of thumb" for setting the preloader percentage? Is it based on file size...I don't want my viewers to have to wait too long? My project does not have any video, and is made up of ten TOC segments, none of which exceeds 10MB.  I'd appreciate much any advice on this!

In my project I have svg files.When I am checking by timeline  all slides are ok (show normal) but when preview by project or HTML it looks very bad and show wrong graphics.When published by computer it show everything wrong, like my character is small size, some character do not come and etc...What to do? Hi everyone I need your help .I used font Mardoto in my project.I am going to publish my project. How to do that  in all computers show my Mardoto font? For example when I send my captivate file to my college he opened but it showed not Mardoto font   may be because he had not this font in his computer, but if I publish from my computer and will it  it  show Mardoto font? Does it mean that in another computers published project will show Mardoto?Thanks a lot!

I just downloaded Captivate trial. I want to create a video demoI have 3 monitors 2 Large and my laptopI am getting disallowed due to mismatching displays. I don't want to use my laptop screen only the othersIs there anyway around this because I don't want to make them match.

I can't import a powerpoint to Captivate.When I tried with pptx file, there was the error - fatal error has occured and the application is being terminated.And with ppt file, it still didn't work and the program said that it can't be open because the file is damaged.I am not sure how I can solve this, even reinstall several times but it never works.

When a course is played through the LMS (UniversitySite) & IE in Citrix, the course is marked as incomplete when it was actually completed successfully. Running the same course through the LMS locally communicates with the LMS OK and the course is marked as completed successfully. It also works OK running through Chrome in Citrix. Does anyone have any idea of why it's a problem in IE & Citrix?

I have downloaded and installed Captivate 2017 on my Windows 10 machine. I downloaded Captivate_10_Voices_x64_160 using the link provided in the application. When I attempt to run the Setup, I get this message: "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." and there is a link to that download. But I can't find Adobe Support Advisor, and other posts suggest it exists no more. Now what? I rely very heavily on text-to-speech. Thanks in advance!

Captivate 2019: we have hundreds of courses we have created in Captivate, each with almost 300 slides of information, and each slide with custom back and next buttons. This, however, allows the user to click next through each slide without viewing them in total if they desired. This worked for a long while, but no longer.Because of this, we are needing to find a way to make it so the "next" button does not show up until the last second of each slide. Seems easy enough. But I am running into an issue trying to accomplish this with a mass action as opposed to slide by slide by slide.  I can change the timing properties and drag the button to its desired spot, but this would take forever to do for each slide. So I can then click the option to apply to all buttons of this type. The problem there, though, is that then applies the same properties to the "back" buttons. We want the back buttons to stay as they are, there the entire slide so that users can seamlessly go back. I can delete

I am currently working in Adobe Captivate 9 and am struggling with some motion paths.  I have a few objects grouped together (an example: A puzzle piece grouped with a text box) and want to make them move together on a motion path.  This motion path looks great in the preview, on the HTML5 preview, etc.  However, when I publish it as a zip file to Review My E-Learning, it looks nothing like the preview or html5 preview.  The puzzle piece ends up in one place, and the text ends up not moving as far--so they are no longer looking as though they are grouped.In another example of this same issue, the groups that I put motion paths on did not appear to end in the position that they appeared to end at in HTML5 preview or preview of the screen.Can you not apply a motion path to groups? Is anyone else having this issue? How can I resolve it?

I am trying to get a video (distributed across multiple slides) to play on a mini iPad.  The tablet is updated to current OS. Video is uploaded through company LMS and plays on other hardware and browsers. 'Slide' is displayed but does not play video, you can scrub with play bar, but only shows like a screenshot. Any help at all is greatly appreciate.  I did read maybe not selecting the 'Scalable HTML content' for Publishing might help, but it does not.  This is not an Auto play button problem.There are articles similar to this on WEB, but really old postings.  Can anyone advise?  PLZ!!!CP 2019 Release -11.0.0.243 (64 bit)Project size is 1024 x567 video is 1024 x 567

Hello,  I've recently come across two unrelated questions having to deal with captions in Adobe Captivate 2019.First is regarding a Click Box interaction I have set up.  I have enabled the Failure caption for this box but when I preview the project, it does not appear when clicking outside of the Click Box.  If I enable hint or success captions, these do appear correctly.  Just curious if there might be a setting or something I am overlooking?Next is for the software simulation feature.  I've noticed the captions used for these do not have the same formatting options available as a normal text entry or smart shape.  Unfortunately the included caption styles are not completely on brand for my company and so I will need to create custom captions.  I don't know if I'm just missing one but I cannot seem to find any sort of online guide / article on this process.  I looked into the .../Gallery/Captions/ folder and noticed each caption has a series of

Hi,I have a software simulation project with about 50 slides, using text to speech on every slide. One slide with text however, doesnt work properly. When I create the video, there is aferwards no sound playing. Even though the text gets played in the preview within the system.Do you know how to solve this?Best regards,Adrian

Hey, everyone!New here. I have a project that is 13 slides with audio. The skin has table of contents and playback controls at the bottom.My first publish didn't scale it down on my iPhone, so I went in and checked "Scalable HTML Content". Now it scales down for my phone, but it plays in the browser on the computer and the iPhone vertically centered. Any way to have it scale on smaller screens but be at the top of the browser?Thank you!

I have done this before and it worked perfectly fine in Captivate 7 but now in Captivate 2017 (10.0.0.192) whenever I create a group and set it to display for the rest of the project (for a custom menu for example) the entire project just crashes on that slide.I can preview the project and it works fine until I land on the slide where the group first appears. I get a completely white screen and nothing else. I can navigate forward using the preview skip buttons and view the rest of the project no problem but returning to the slide with the group will always just result in a completely white screen.I seen a similar discussion about this but couldn't see a resolution there. The only thing I have left to try is to apply the update to version 10.0.1.285....does anyone have any experience of using groups in this way on that version and if so does it work?Thanks

Hi, I have HTML5 output from Captivate 9.0.1. Some smart shapes are used as buttons and they plays audio via advanced actions. The problem is, when I preview the exported HTML5 content (not responsive project) in actual version of Chrome and click to each button, audio randomly stop, every time at another place of audio. Some times it works normally. What you think about it?Thanks for any response.

I am creating an advanced action as per belo however it will not let me update the action. It comes up with this messageBut will not update the action. I have cleared preferences a few times but still no luckI am using Adobe Captivate 2017 10.0.1.283any ideas?

Hi, Using Captivate 9, I have a drag and drop interaction. The user has 2 tries and I have Failure Message checked. For that failure message, I have the words "Try Again". I would like for that message to only appear on the first try. And then on the 2nd try that failure message would not appear - instead, I have an advanced interaction to show a different message and a Next button. The problem is that failure message appears for each try. And the wording has to be the same for both tries which doesn't work here. They can't "Try Again" on their 2nd try. Is there a way for that Try Again failure message to only appear once? I tried to hide it behind the message that appears when the user tries for the 2nd time, but it's always on top.
