Hello,I created a tracker entry CF-4203491 a few months ago and the bug has recently been verified and is to be fixed. The email  no-reply email I received reads:Target Version updated to 'Alpha'Version updated to '13.0'Version updated to '2016'It looks like the latest Update 1 version for the 2018 (13.0)  was released on September 11, 2018.Can I expect CF-4203491 to be included in Update 2 for ColdFusion release 2018 (13.0)? If so, is there an expected release date for this software Update? It seems like Updates are release every quarter or so but was hoping for an expected release date.Thanks,Jim

Hi,I need to install ColdFusion Standard (2018) on a server with CentOs 7.6, the server has cPanel and Apache 2.4. I need to use the command line entirely because this is a remote server, I access the terminal with PuTTY. The server will have other domains which use php (not coldfusion)How can I achive this? Are there any instructions I can follow?I have this working now with ColdFusion 9, CentOs 6 and Apache 2.2. The server has cPanel and other domains on server use php and not coldfusion, and everything works ok.We need to upgrade. But before purchasing the new ColdFusion, I need to be sure we can install it the way we need it. Any help will be really appreciated. Thank you.Vero

For commercial use of  Oracle Java you will 2019 need to get from Oracle a commercial license. I suppose this has also impact to the cost of running ColdFusion server or  ColdFusion Builder? Or is it Adobes headache?

Hi all,I have hit an issue with cfimage when attempting to generate a captcha.  Code works fine on the location (windows) dev version, so I assume this is likely to be linux permissions related or perhap a java issue.  Quick heads up:1) CF11 installed on Red Hat 72) Having checked the cfroot/cfusion/tmpCache/CFFileServlet/_cf_captcha and the png file that cfimage produces for a captcha request is there ready.3) On the cf page the capture image does not show just a white area.  Looking at the source code the image scr is linking back to 'CFFileServlet/_cf_captcha/_captcha_img8757551929545998425.png'. 4) I have been attempting to resolve this issue for sometime and followed many of the suggestions around adding an Apache alias for CFFileServlet  and modifying mod_jk.conf etc but without success.After following the installation guide for CF11, we did also update the version of Java as suggested.  Not sure if this is related but when using CF11 administrator, for e

We have development, testing, and production servers running Redhat, Apache, and CF11.  Our captcha images used to work on dev and test, but now throw 403 errors and are not displayed.  In production, the images still work and are displayed.Permissions on dev and test for the images at /opt/coldfusion11/cfusion/tmpCache/CFFileServlet/_cf_captcha are defaulting to 600.  On production, it is defaulting to 644.  Where do these permissions get set?

I'm caught in a time-warp. I wrote a flash application some 8 or so years ago and have not touched AS2 since. Now, I need to test the app for a potential problem. The production system runs SBS2008, CF9 and MySQL 5.5. My test machine has the same software but running under Windows 7. When I try to run the application, it won't open. Running under Flash CS6 test, it throws errors about inability to load the class or interface 'Service', ditto for Pending Call, Result Event,Fault Event. My feeling is that it doesn't believe flash remoting is implemented even though I edited the gateway-config.xml to enable the CFWS adapter. Was there anything else I should have dome? The CF9 manual mentions about using the interface from AS3 but I can see nothing about how to install/enable Flash Remoting.I know this is old stuff but any guidance would be much appreciated.

We are upgrading our CF Server 10 to latest CF 2018. And i am facing bind issue between dropdown selected value and cfgrid bind.There is dropdown just above the cfgrid that is set empty at first and has values listed of a query, and just below is a grid that binds the dropdown selection value to the query that is fetched.At first as empty is selected it would not fetch records and grid would be empty. I've been developing small web sites, mostly for personal use, since Coldfusion 4.0.1. Throughout that time, I have run them on an IIS server under various versions of Windows. I am not highly technical; don't have much knowledge of servers. I have always been able to create and manage multiple sites with coldfusion by setting ports to match the directory structure under inetpub/wwwroot/site_1; inetpub/wwwroot/site_2, etc.Last year, I installed CF18 under Win10, and the usual J2EE installation didn't go through the old process of provisioning under IIS. Sorry if I'm using the wrong terminology. Howdy all,   I've recently encountered an issue with a 300+ page PDF generated by a scheduled process. The scheduler generates our institutional organization chart and has been working great. However, we have found instances where a few pages (~4 or so depending upon run) are flat and have no CSS styling applied to them. All other pages are flawless. Even more puzzling is that in some instances, the styling will be applied to parts of the content, but not others. So in one case, the header and footer are properly styled, but the page body has no styling applied. In another case, on one page only the footer is missing styling.   Given this is all rendered via iteration, the only thing I can think of is maybe an intermittent connectivity issue to the CSS sheet. We have recently moved our data center, so we have had some squirrely routing issues every now and then. I've learned from experience that it is best to include the CSS in both the CFDocument AND in every CFDoc

'm working on the new system and there are few things that are different from what I used to see. Basically there is an JQuery ajax call with "POST" type and url pointing to .cfm page. The .cfm page will return html table.After talking to lead developer he mentioned that this method is more efficient. This way calling .cfm we do not create new instance each time we make a call. The other way if we use .cfc and call a function new instance will be created each time. I do not know everything behind the screen and deep layers of ColdFusion.One other thing he mentioned this way it's better since we do not use any frameworks. I have been working with ColdFusion for the past 4 years and what I seen in the past is JQuery Ajax calling component.cfc with specific method name. The data is returned and table is built dynamically. I was wondering if someone knows more about this and why the .cfm might be better than calling .cfc.Thank you.

When using BlazeDS (Flex app) to send dates to CF, and the date sent is within Daylight Saving Time, CF fails with an error [BlazeDS] Error deserializing client message.coldfusion.runtime.locale.CFLocaleBase$InvalidDateTimeException: July 8, 2016 6:00:00 PM EDT is an invalid date or time string.My guess is that this is likely caused by CF 2018 using Java 10 which has an issue in CLDR using three character time zone formats. (We are US shop). Even having the standard JVM switch -Djava.locale.providers=COMPAT,SPI it does not work, fails every time.Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve? I am about to try using a separate JVM as a test, but not sure whether that will work or not. Installed CF 2018 on new server and copied over the neo-*.xml files from a previous version of CF 10.  After logging into 2018 CF administrator, I can see the main categories on the left side of screen, and I can open each of these.  However, there is no way to drill down into any of the sub categories... for example with Server Settings... there is no way to drill down to:  Request Tuning, Caching, Client Variable, etc.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,We are running two Red Hat 7 servers, one to run CF 2016 (Server A) and one to run Apache 2.4.6 (Server B). I’ve read instructions on how to get CF to run in distributed mode, but I’m not having any luck getting it to work. Is there a walkthrough on how to go about it?I’ve installed CF on the Apache server (Server B) to get the connectors set correctly, and changed the workers.properties file to point to Server A, ensuring the cfusion.port is the same on both servers. On Server B I’ve installed our homegrown CF application, complete with Application.cfm and index.cfm files but when browsing to Server B it returns an error: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSEWhat am I missing?
