Hello,I'm new to the forum, so please bare with me if I have not provided the proper details or in the desired format. Problem:  Daily, usually in the evening or early morning hours, USA time, our Cold Fusion sites are found down (4 sites, plus the default admin, cf instances) all connected through IIS and the Cold Fusion sites are configured to run as a Windows Service.  Resolution:  Start the sites via jrun.exe or start them via Windows Services (services.msc) and it works fine, no further issues until the next problem occurs again later.System:  Windows 2008 Enterprise 64bitVMware client running on VMHost - HOST info:  VMware ESXi 5.1.0 64bit, 1 CPU, 2 cores assigned.  6GB of RAM.  VMware host reports less than 50% CPU usage and memory across multiple VM Clients (Guests), no spikes of note.Cold Fusion 9 64bitCold Fusion:  Server Product  ColdFusion  Version  9,0,1,274733    Edition  Enterprise  &nbs

We just upgraded from ColdFusion Enterprise 10 to ColdFusion Enterprise 16.  Unfortunately, we couldn't figure out a way to migrate the SOLR collection.  The migration tool on the CFAdmin page doesn't work.   Anyone done this?Thanks,Nam

On our servers we have CF 9.02 (yea, yea please get past this), and we are looking at upgrading to CF 2016.  So I downloaded the 30 day trial version installed it on the dev server, but used the internal Tomcat server to run CF9.02 simultaneously.  Every appears to be working as expected except FLEX SWF files.I followed instructions from here ColdFusion Help | Installing Integrated Technologies  but I get blank pages with debugging information but no errors..Has anyone else seen this issue?  Can you point me in a direction to look?thanks,Kev

Accidently showed hidden characters \r\n, can't work out how to hide againI can't figure this out It's not hidden characters, or whitespace characters (I've hidden both in the editor preferences).Anyone know how to re hide these things?

Updated and deployed a CF app from CF8 to CF11. I downloaded the CF 11 "demo" in November, and it has expired. I received an email inviting me to buy. The version in the email says it was CF Enterprise.I only want to buy Standard, but  - will this screw-up my installation? It's all working, and I don't see any problems. How does an unlicensed version make itself known?The CF8 version I upgraded from is standard, and we're not doing anything fancy at all. - Executing an external program on the server, creating a PDF from CF Reports, and zipping a folder for downloading is about it.*really* don't want to re-install, as it was not trivial doing so.Thanks.

I am building a report in cf report builder where there records outputed are grouped and sorted by date in the cf queryI need to be able to display the date as the grouped heading on each page, if there is a change of date in results on the same page i am wanting the sub heading for the new grouped date to appear on the page as a sub heading.the output i am needing is the same as the output that would be generated from the following code in a cfm output<cfoutput query="queryname" group="TransactionDate">#TransationDate#<br>     <cfoutput>#transationTime# , #transactiontype#, #transactionamount#     </cfoutput></cfoutput>When i try and generate similar output above in cf report builder i am not able to have the TransationDate appear as the subheading once the date changesthe report simply outputs the rows containing#transationTime# , #transactiontype#, #transactionamount#however at the change of date there is no sub h

Hi All,I was working in generating pdf report from html content and I was trying to put footer html content in the pdf, but I'm unable to put it inside cfhtmltopdfitem tag as div tag and class is not allowed inside it. So, I just kept it inside my html body, but I'm getting a huge space between the html footer and the actual pdf footer(as show in the image).So, is there any way to resolve this?

Hi All,OS / Redhat Linux 7CF Version 11,0,07,296330Tomcat version 7.0.64.0Java version 1.8.0_25  I have this strange issue that I am hoping is an easy fix.  Previously when I ran CF9 I was able to get into the Server Monitor without issue.  Back in June we deployed a new server and installed CF11.  Since then, I have not been able to get into the Server Monitor, so I am assuming the issue is related to the way I set up ColdFusion on this new server.When I click on Launch Server Monitor in the CF Administrator, it launches a new window but displays the following error message:I am not sure if it just is looking in the wrong area for the server monitor, or the issue is due with the account used to set up CF.  ColdFusion is currently running as user "nobody"....which I am sure is not the right way to have this configured.  For login information, I have tried using the Administrator account that we log into the CF Admin page with, but have not had any luck.Any

I need to report counts by program, level and if they have enrolled in a course for the selected year. With the below query I receive counts for both the enrolled and offered columns when a student is enrolled in the selected year and also previous years. I'm am using a customized synonyms.txt file to create product / technical term synonyms as well as spelling corrections for product names. There seems to be an issue with spaces. I have two CF2016 servers and I have this same issue on both.  CF2016 is installed OOTB and I made no changes to any .js files.ColdFusion.Ajax.submitForm does post the form data to my specified URL, but the content within my CFTEXTAREA input within the form is posted as an empty string, even with content in the input. If I simply change the richtext parameter from yes to no, it works as expected. I'm not sure if it's related, but when debugging this issue, ckeditor.js is throwing an exception at line 426:  Object doesn't support property or method 'item'Again, I made no changes to this file or ckeditor config.js.I'm using Windows 7, IE11 (compatibility mode is enabled).  I can duplicate the problem in Chrome and FireFox.Anybody else experiencing this issue?  Is it a bug or am I missing something?Thank you,-Chris

I have five (5) applications that are using Coldfusion 10.  Each application is using the same Default Pool because I don't know how to separate the Default Pools. How do I get the service to stop going down?

For some odd reason, when our users try to upload files to our site running on Cold Fusion 11 through a Big IP F5 set up as a reverse web proxy, the F5 logs are showing a double "HTTP 100 CONTINUE" response which causes the connection to drop.We are running on a Windows 2008 R2 x64 OS with Cold Fusion 11 Enterprise update 9.There are 2 clusters one with 5 instances in it which houses the website and a backend single instance that runs our scheduled jobs.I've tried a whole slew of different things on the OS side and some stuff on the CF side including some connector parameters, none of which has worked at all.Does anyone have any suggestions?

Need some serious helping learning the cgi tag.  Its for a contact form on a website.  Basically how to use the link to have a message display that the form was submitted.  Once submitted the info goes to an action.cfm page which works fine.  But need help using the tag.  Thanks!
