As part of a larger project, for 508 compliance I need to add closed captions to some Adobe Connect informational webinars that are posted on a federal government website.I am familiar with creating closed caption files for video and have ability to save timed captions in many different formats.I have not captioned before for Adobe Connect.What type file do I need to deliver to client to add the captioning to their posted webcasts?
I am looking to get some code to:check device,if on desktop launch meeting link.if on mobile device launch the Adobe Connect app and have meeting open thereIt is part 3 I am having trouble with. I have read a lot about the connectpro:// prefix. I have seen some people say to load up the prefix with the whole http:// address, which seems weird syntax to me. I have also seen people say to add in the login and url parameters. But my tests have not gotten the app to launch. In addition, I read on Android v25 - prefixes do not work and you need to add in an "intent". So I was not sure if "intent" fixes the issue for older versions of android, or if we need to check the version of android being used. There are a lot of moving parts here, and I have seen no documentation surrounding example code or instructions to call code that will launch the app and display the meeting.Side note - I am looking to do it this way because I further researched that Android does not support Adobe Flash Player i
I have forgotten my Adobe Connect username, but still have the email and password. Is there a way to retrieve the username with the email?
Good morning group! I thought I would share new camera that WORKS with Adobe Connect. We have been trying to find a 'wireless webcam' that would work with Connect. Logitech as released a new camera they call the Broadcaster. On their site it says the unit is designed to work with Skype and UStream. We bought a few to test out and I am happy to report that it also works with Connect. Using a mac computer you load the application, then it comes up with a QR code that you point the camera at and it will then join the Wifi network that the computer is on. Then the computer will show that the camera is connected. You launch, connect, and enable webcam. Then you have the option to choose Broadcaster from the webcam choice and audio source. Your done. i have adobe connect 9.3 and 9.1.2 on premisei installed in my own servermy problem is the ppt and pdf in share pod does not show in the recording .any thing show well in recording but when i share pdf or ppt in the share pod it does not appear in the recording and share pod remain blank in recordingwhat is the issue ?thank you
We are trying to download recordings and it keeps crashing on us. We can download 1 or 2, then it crashes every time after that (until I reboot). We are running the Adobe Connect 9 Add-in version 11.9.972.8I have tried this on Windows 7 x64 and Windows 8 x64. We have used Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome. I have paid for Adobe and still cannot print anything
We have purchased a package of concurrent seats for the institution, but I am trying to understand the best way to monitor how many are being used concurrently. We will eventually have many users who will be scheduling their own meetings, so there is no good way for me to make sure that too many meetings will not happen simultaneously. Is there any kind of notification system to let me know when we reach a certain threshold of users? We got 200 seats to start with, but I am trying to monitor to understand if we will need more. I would ideally like to receive an email when 100 or 150 seats are used at a given time. Also, is there a way to manually monitor from within the admin interface? How are other institutions monitoring concurrent usage?Thanks for any thoughts/comments!
Does anyone know how to do a silent install from the setup.exe? The closest I could get was by running setup.exe /silent, but the progress bar still popped up, although it skipped the first screen where you click next.

Hi, it’s a long time we are not able to download a clean flv, every time we try to do that it happens:• The sound skip, is not continuous• Audio and Video are not synchronous• The final video does not last as the meetingafter months and after various reports you can have a permanent solution?Thanks.
I need to connect an external SD NTSC analog camera feed to Connect hosted on a laptop. Can anyone recommend an external capture device that can accept an analog video signal, digitize it and get into a PC/Mac?

Hi all,I apologize if this has been asked/answered before but I can't find it in the search. We have just switched over to SSO for Adobe Connect (v9), and I can no longer publish my Captivate 8 files. I used to be able to publish directly to Connect from within Captivate, but I am no longer able to. When I try to publish to the new SSO URL, I get the following message:I've tried publishing to the old URL, and it doesn't allow me to log in. I've tried exporting both a ZIP and SWF, and while it allows me to upload the file, I am unable to get it running in my meeting room. Dear Adobe people, When I invite people to a meeting room in Adobe Connect, they get a popup with a tour of the website. They can make it go away by checking the "Don't show this again", but usually they are too confused or scared to do this. I have to take valuable time away from my customer interaction to explain this. Why on earth do think that users would want to take a tour of the website? Don't you know that they will click on every possible button until it works? Please remove the popup. It makes the user experience much worse. Thanks,Henrik
Using Adobe Connect to connect to Webinar. User gets to log in screen to enter credentials. User moves forward to connect screen and get no further. Have used https://na1cps.adobeconnect.com/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm to verify PC meets requirements for the connection. User has had issues with Adobe Connect Webinars for several weeks. User does not have problem from different PC at differnt internet access point.
