I think there's an issue with movies number 4 & 5 of Substance 3D Painter - Model preparation. Both seem to be movie #2. There are weird shifts in the texture and I don't know how to fix this I tried to export it without the UV maps from blender but that didn't help. If you know how to fix this I would like to hear it :). (The frog is for reference for what is should look like.)
hello, I'm working on human body textures from CC3 and Daz. the problem is that I would like to work on 2 parts of the body at the same time. for example using the stamp tool from the body to remove the shoulder parting line.Thank you

Hallo,ich nutze seit ich mit der Uni angefangen hab die CC Student Lizenz und wollte mir vor kurzem Substance Painter über die Creative Cloud runter laden. Ich versteh nicht, warum mir die Lizenzen zu allen 3D Applikationen fehlt, trotz meiner aktiven Lizenz?(Ich bin nach wie vor Student)Muss ich die Lizenz kündigen und neu starten oder kann das anders gelöst werden? Der Preis hat sich ja auch nicht veränder, also versteh ich nicht weshalb diese Programme nicht dabei sind.
After uninstalling and reinstalling, while opening substance it takes meer seconds after opening before it crashes. Once it crashes there is no report to fill or send out.
After moving to the new Adobe version I lost my old shelf. I've added the old shelf to the assets list, and it is in my assets list. When I open it in the assets window I only see some strange icons (see image). What's going on? The files are all still in the old shelf folders. I've even copied the starter assets to my old shelf and even they don't display.
I have a high poly mesh with a complex UV mapped texture. Is it possible to bake this texture onto the low poly mesh in Substance painter?

I want to opened program but is way "something went wrong" how to fix this? i am finding how to fix it 2 day now pls help
According to this page in the documentation https://substance3d.adobe.com/documentation/spdoc/forcing-the-external-gpu-on-mac-os-188974284.html I should be able to use an external GPU. When I follow the instructions and check 'Prefer External GPU' the center canvas of Painter is transparent. Just wondering if SP can use the model's UV cavity map, normal map, etc and allow you to project textures only in the cavities areas?For example, Mari uses the "channel Mask" which you can import your normal maps of your model and apply your textures based on the model's UV maps. Thanks!
Hey guys, I recently logged in into my QAllegorithmic account, and all my points (around 800) and assests are just desapeared. I thjought they were migrated to my Adobe account but no, there are 0 assets and only 60 points,Do you know what I can dow to fix this?
Hello, ive been trying to to export the subsurface scattering effect that i created in substance painter in my current proyect to arnold (maya) and then plug it in the hypershade to apply it to my model, i followed an internet guide to do it, but its completely a mess now... im connecting the scattering map that i exported from substance to subsurface-weight in arnold and then setting it to raw and alfa is luminance but i get a white model... its driving me crazy because is the only thing left to do with the proyect, thanks for the attention.
how i can activate my license that i have and still payind to original Substance painter. just make simple button. Not that hard. so i dont have to brake my had or spend all day figuring it out. thank u

How to fix this?
I am getting recurrent issues in which the program will stall out or crash completely after just applying a few smart materials or even just one onto my mesh. I am basically not able to do anything in the program. I have adjusted the TDR in the regedit and I have installed the most recent AMD drivers. Despite this, I am still getting messages such as these. I am including the exported log file.
HiMy Goal: To be able to apply normal map decals on mesh with specific colorThe problem:- When using Circular Brush (e.g. Shape) and I use in normal channle decal with circular form like bolt ot nut it's fine (green selction on screenshot)- But when Use rectangular decal (e.g. handle_12 from the buit-in decals) again using same circular shape brush I'm getting the decal with extra space colored around the decal itselfThoughts:- I don't believe I should change every time the brush shape and we don't have specific brushes for each decals- I tried also apply same normal map as brush but then I don't know how to color the decal itself.Thanks in advance !
version 7.2.1 I just downloaded this version of Substance and it doesn't open it crashes on white screen everytime. It worked before i updated it but now i cannot even open the software. My Normal baking also no longer works and just produces the white and gray checker material.
