Question

Selecting new product starts your one year over

Just to inform those who may not have known, if you change your plan mid-term then the one-year commitment starts all over again. I had about 4 months left of the original program I no longer used, so I discovered I can switch to another program that I will be able to find use for, for the remainder of the 4 months. Surprise surprise the year-commitment started all over again. Nowhere did they inform me of this, only after confirmation and commitment of the plan. Really dissapointed that Adobe needs to be this sly. As if they don't make enough money. I have now been paying months for a product I no longer use.

And another surprise is they don't even have a complaints department, they make sure you cannot contact them directly.

The products are also way over priced for a hobby consumer.

That's because most Adobe products are professional programs. The Photoshop and Premiere Elements softwares are cheaper but have fewer capabilities than the professional programs.

    Hi there,

We appreciate you writing in. Happy to help!

    After you change your plan:

    • The new plan is effective immediately, and you receive a charge for the new plan.
    • Your monthly billing date changes to the date you change your plan.
    • For yearly plans, the new renewal date is one year after the date you change your plan. For example, if you change your plan on June 14, 2022, the new plan renews on June 14, 2023.

Please read the article below for better understanding.

sorry you were unaware, but you cannot change plans.  you can stop one plan and start another plan (which, in effect, is a plan change), but obviously is going to start another term if you opt for the annual subscription with the new plan.
