CC Library reverted back a few days and I lost a lot of work

I have been working on graphical assets in my CC library that we share across teams, and this morning, my library has reverted back to a previous state. I lost a lot of work. When I now open files with links to newly created Library assets, those links are missing.

Why does CC Library revert backward, obliterating recent work???
