Question

Creative Cloud won't sync files over 5mb "due to server error"

As of a few days ago, I keep getting "creative cloud could not sync some files due to sever error" messages. I've looked at all the files it's failing to sync (219 in total) and they're all over 5mb. Anything under that size is fine.

I've already uninstalled everything and used the CC cleaner thing. I've stopped/started the sync process about a hundred times. I've deleted and added the files back.

Only used 16% of the 1TB of cloud storage space.

Hi There,

W are sorry for your difficulties. Could you please let us know the Creative Cloud Desktop Application version installed on your PC and also the OS Version? We have an article link that will help you to resolve the syncing issue. Please refer below:

Creative Cloud verson  5.9.0.372
Windows 10 PC

I've followed the article. For "due to server issues" it just suggests trying again later. However it's been a week now.

Hi There,

Thank you for the details. Could you let us know which type of files you are trying to sync(format)? Basically

if you copy a large file to your Creative Cloud Files folder, the file doesn't sync until it is copied completely into a folder. As the file is copied, the file is flagged, and your Creative Cloud app notifies you that it is "Unable to sync file(s)". Once the copy completes, it begins syncing to Creative Cloud.

Please try syncing again . Make sure the CC Application is in foreground and then press CTRL+ALT+R. Wait till it shows file syncing, give some time. If this does not work please let me know.

Regards,

Neelam
