Question regarding selling a product created using Adobe.

“We have created and developed with advanced scripting calculations Electronic Fillable Forms using Adobe Live Cycle in the Adobe Professional Version.

Can I Sell/Licenses the created forms that were developed in Adobe Live Cycle (Adobe Professional Version) to other tax practitioners and individuals without a problem with the Adobe Terms of Service Agreement?

Are there any known restrictions in doing this and/or on the numbers of forms sold and/or Licensed to end users (Buyers)?

The Electronic Fillable forms are initially created/developed to require the end user to  “rights enable” the forms before you can use them.

Can I send the forms to the end users “already rights enabled” and not have an issue or restrictions with Adobe?

If you can send “pre-rights enabled forms”, the end user(s) (Purchasers/Licensees of the forms.) could use Adobe Reader and not have to rights enable the forms before they could use them.

Or, would I be required to send the forms “non rights enabled” and the Buyers/Licensees (Tax Preparers and/or Individuals) have to own Adobe Standard or Adobe Professional Versions in order to rights enable the forms before they could use them?

I know Adobe Standard and Adobe Pro can rights enable forms created, but can the newest free versions of Adobe Reader rights enable forms created as discussed above?”

Are you aware that LiveCycle reached End of Core Support six years ago?

https://helpx.adobe.com/support/adobe-livecycle-end-of-core-support.html

"With the availability of AEM Forms for more than 4 years and per Adobe’s published product and technical support periods, Adobe has discontinued core technical support for Adobe LiveCycle as of March 2018. For organizations who need extra time to plan migration to Adobe’s latest technology, Extended Maintenance and Support is available an additional two years after the end of Core Support Period."

Also note that forms created with LiveCycle cannot be opened on mobile devices. We see many posts in the Acrobat Reader for Mobile forum from folks using their phones and cannot open government forms.
