Hello everyone, I am interested in writing my own ebook, but I'm not sure how to actually go about writing it. Can anybody recommend the best way to write a pdf document, or at least point me in the right direction so I can learn more about how to do it? Thanks in advance for any help.

Just to update, i have a better way to view PDF as HTML on any phone browser. It does not need any installation!

Online version of iReader works on any phone that comes with a web browser such as iPhone, Nokia or PocketPC. Conveniently, reading can be done offline as it automatically save on your phone! It will automatic bookmark upon exit too. To use iReader, go to http://www.doitech.com/iReader now!

Enjoy! It is a beautiful world...

Hi Michael, I guess what you are saying is how I can convert to pdf from doc. I suggest downloading a free opensource software called "Open office." Install it.

I suppose you write your ebook with Microsoft Word. Save your file and then right click and open with open office instead. Check if the formatting is all right and then save it as PDF. It's pretty easy and it's free. The great thing is that if you have hyperlinks on your ebook, it does not remove it as some pdf converter software does. All your hyperlinks are preserved.

I hope it is useful for you. If you need to create great ebook cover, I can offer some help as well.

    Hi There,

You can first create a file in microsoft word and then convert it to a pdf file. I believe Adobe offers a couple of free samples. If you will be using Adobe Acrobate a lot you may want to just purchase it. It only was about a $200 investment for me and is well worth it.

You can also convert your word document online without downloading and installing any software. Adobe has one ; http://www.adobe.com/acom/createpdf/
