Adobe Acrobat Standard 2015 deactivation issue.

So I have run into a bit of an issue here and hope someone here can assist. Today I purchased a new copy of Adobe Acrobat Standard 2020 and have added it to my account. I wanted to remove my copy of Acrobat 2015 from my current PC, put it on a different PC, and then install 2020 on this PC. I followed the the correct steps to sign out and deactivate the software and it showed me as signed out before I uninstalled. However, when I attempted to install Acrobat 2015 on my other PC it gave me an error saying it needs to be deactivated on the other PC.

Thinking maybe there was an issue with the deactivation not going through succesfully, I attempted to reinstall the 2015 version on the original PC and attempt to deactivate again. But now it's giving me the same error on the original PC. Nothing has changed on this system in the last hour since I uninstalled it so, I am a bit confused on this.

I attempted to deactivate through my account but, it shows no active devices. I believe this may be because that only shows subscription licensed devices and not purpetual licensed devices. I also attempted to use the AI chat option but, it acts as though it cannot see the products and will not let me talk to a real person(also guessing this is because it's not the subscription licensing).

Are the activate/deactivate servers still functional for Adobe Acrobat Standard 2015? Any tips on how to resolve this?

Thank you for the quick response and I apologize for my delayed response. I followed every step provided and unfortunatelly the problem persists. It will not allow me to reinstall it on the original computer to attempt the deactivation again. It gives me the same "Product already in use, deactivate from another computer within X days to use this product".

Any other options? Really confused on why this is occuring, I have deactivated and moved adobe products in the past without issue.

that computer is being recognized as a different computer.  this is typical if hardware changes are made, but can occur in other circumstances, too.  once that occurs, there's no known remedy other then returning to the previous configuration.
