Hi. I couldn't edit the ServiceConfig.xml also. So i duplicate the Config folder and change the ServiceConfig inside it. Then i delete the original Config Folder and let just the duplicate (without the name 'duplicate').

I reboot and the Apps panel was there.

Don't know for how long it will be there, since my Apps Tab were there and then suddenly disappeared. But at least now is working.

Hi, I also have this same issue (no apps tab at all).

I tried the solution everyone has been mentioning: Apps tab missing from Creative Cloud Desktop

but it doesn't work. I edited the file, closed the Creative Cloud process, and restarted my computer, but the app tab is still missing. I'm unable to install any apps at the moment.

Is there an alternative solution?

Please delete the ServiceConfig.xml file and restart your machine and then launch Creative Cloud. You will see Apps Tab back in there.

Cheers!

I have the same problem. The apps tab is missing.
I’ve followed the instructions from Apps tab missing from Creative Cloud Desktop as well as this thread and still nothing.
I’ve renamed the OOBE folder, killed all the Adobe processes, reinstalled Creative Cloud and there’s still no Configs folder, no ServiceConfig.xml file and no apps tab.

What can I do?

If the Apps tab is missing from Creative Cloud

Note:  End all the Adobe processes from task manager before performing these steps.

1)  Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\Configs

2)  Edit ServiceConfig file with notepad (Replace all the texts with : <config><panel><name>AppsPanel</name><visible>true</visible></panel></config>)

3)  Save ServiceConfig file and relaunch Creative Cloud.

Please reply if this works for you.

Enjoy!

I also have the issue of not seeing the apps tab in the Desktop app, I have had an error which came up when I reinstalled the desktop app. If I log into the website and look to at the desktop downloads it show as install trial even though I have a full license.

If anyone could advise it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Rajshree for your reply. However the above didn't work for me. Let me know if there is any other process.

Thank you once again.
