Creative Clod Desktop Update Stops at 12%- error code 205

Been Going on for over a week at least. Creative Clod Desktop tries to update itself and download stops at 12% every time. No connectivity issues, no firewall issues. Doesn't seem to be a cure. Tried downloading the standalone installer and using that, with the same results. Can't use the Desktop application at all, because the only thing it will allow me to do is try and fail to install or quit. Have done all the stuff with deleting the OOBE and Installer stuff out of the Libraries without success. Sucker just won't download or allow me to do anything else with the Desktop Application. Not the first issue I've had with Creative Clod updates by a long shot. Am afraid to do the online chat thing and let some Adobe Support Clown operate my computer because in the past they have deleted critical files while I was begging them to not do so. Don't trust Adobe Support clowns at all. Error code is 205. Seems hopeless.

Apologies for that, kindly refer to this document Troubleshoot Adobe Creative Cloud download, install, and update issues

This can also be resolved just by connecting to a different network connection.

Hi Oldbalddude,

Kindly refer to "Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app

Let us know if this helps.

Those solutions are for error code 2 or 50. I'm getting error code 205. Beyond that, this is my busiest time of year. Not sure what happens to Photoshop or Lightroom when the desktop application is uninstalled, but I can't afford the time until at least June. I live in the boondocks and the fastest available connection is 6 Mb/s. That means if I run the cleaner app, I end up having to waste an entire day if the solution works, and am completely out of business if it doesn't. And, it appears to be a download error, so the probability of it not working is high. I simply can't afford to take the risk at this point. I have already checked out the info on these sites, and they are not helpful in my situation.
