Creative Cloud keeps changing install location for apps to default
Recently Creative Cloud stopped working correctly and had error message to do repair. I did that. Then none of my installed applications showed as installed, so I reinstalled them on August 17. Then Lightroom Classic did not use my catalog, so I had to open it manually from within LR. I determined that this was caused by Creative Cloud installing them on the C: drive instead of the L: drive that I use for Adobe apps. Also the "edit in" option for going between LR and Photshop was not working (i.e., the picture did not open up in PS). I uninstalled LR and Photoshop that I had instaled on 8/17. I uninstalled and reinstalled Creative Cloud. In Creative Cloud I changed the app install location to the L: drive which I use for programs. Creative Cloud noted that the install location was changed, but when I looked at the preferences, Creative Cloud had changed it back to the default. When I installed LR again, it again installs on my C: drive which is about full. How do I get Creative Cloud to work as it did before and allow a change in preferences to install the apps to a different drive than C:?
