Trying to download CS5 but I just get a file thats a .7z. I can´t open it on my new computer. How do I do? I've downloaded something called 7-zip but it still won't work.

    Desiree,

If you are on windows, you also need to download the .exe file.

Download both files: On Mac OS, there is one .dmg file. On Windows, there is an .exe file and possibly a .7z file.

Start the Exe file to begin installation

    Here are more detailed instructions:

    Start the installer after downloading

Thank you! I am on Windows

I have dowloaded both files (.7z and .exe, but when I now installed and want to open the program I get the message "Installer failed to initialize. File not found". Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem."

This is what you get when you buy an upgrade for such an old version as CS2. My computer is working against it I think.
