How to transfer LR 3 dvd to iMac without dvd drive

Newbie here, just joined today.  I have my LR 3 DVD with S/N on the case which I purchased in 2010.  My question is that how do I get my LR 3 to my new iMac which does not have a dvd drive player?  Please help, thank you.

    Before you do it, check if your ancient app will run in your shiny new Mac. It probably won't.
